  1. C'mon Panther...... you were just here a minute ago! No witty retort? Nothing to add? OK, I'll do it for you; Familiar sight Devils fans? Matvisuck a day late & a dollar short again, you know wasn't he in this picture too: you know, where Martin "Don't touch me!" Brodeur got hurt..... maybe it isn't a great idea leting this guy on the ice while Eric Staal is out there.... what do you think? He's too busy slashing everyone who he clearly can't play against, ohhh you took the puck away from me I'm going to pull the bitch move & slash you!!!!! Pussy, where are those oh so stellar hands of yours? What about that phenomenal skating ability? All for nothing since you clearly have quit & are now just trying to injure people. Easy to push these little guys around since they are so soft to begin with! Oh no don't touch our goaltender.... too bad he doesn't have anyone in front of him willing to make anyone pay for getting in the goal crease.... saw Stevens watching the game from ice level last night being interviewed on OLN, too bad your best defenseman in franchise history now wears a suit & tie. And sometimes little bitch-boys like Gomez, Gionta & Parise (Hey Panther I thought that you said he would win Rookie of the Year?? Devils fans got a little full of themselves saying he was beter than Crosby, never mind Ovechkin, Lundqvist, Prucha & others) just quit & resort to hack tactics. That's right they didn't work hard..... they quit, just like their old coach Larry Robinson. Oh the stress is too much..... bitch. Of course the Canes want it more, this is a Devils team with no captian, no leader, not even bringing Terrible Lou down from his skybox can right this ship. Sounds like a quitter to me. Canes for the sweep on Saturday, I wonder what kind of pussy, bitch moves the Devil players will try knowing their season is slipping away? Will they pull the "Bernie Nichols" & wind up for a slap shot at the opposing forechecker like they did in Game 6 of 1994? Or will it be the patented "Rafalski hit from behind" where he waits for a guy to get about 4 feet from the boards & then cross checks him in the back driving him face first into the dasher? Perhaps what will cost them in the end will be the "Colin White" where he takes another untimely penalty that leads to a game winner? Or the greatest of all, the "Brian Gionta" where the midget takes a page out of Dale Hunter's book & breaks someones arm out of reprisal from gettting beat to the puck? Brodeur Own3d again!
  2. 16,000 for a playoff game! Just further proof that nobody gives a shit about this team!!
  3. Because they have douchebag sissy boys like Daniel (My hair looks nice, yet I'm only effective during the regular season.) Alfredsson (who seems to suffer from Yashin syndrome, perhaps from playing on the same line for many years). That & Chara can't do everything by himself.
  4. The last person from Philly that I've seen throw an accurate punch was Rocky Balboa......... starting at QB for the Philadelphia Eagles # 1 Sly Stallone......... at least he won't choke & we know he can take a hit. As far as the pissing thing I always just thought it was because Eagles fans were degenerate alcoholics, aparently it's a combination of that & the Irish curse........ just being angry & bitter hoping to make up for their "shortcomings"..... both on the field & in the bedroom.
  5. Which was again proven tonight when your team unraveled in the 3'rd period down a goal, BTW what do you guys think of Gionta with his hack job on every Cane that came near him? Can't play against the big boys in the playoffs so he should respond with slashing? Sounds like a bitch move to me, cry on little man... cry on. One or two more things to chew on; #1 defenseman, you gotta be kidding me.... he is nothing more than an undisciplined goon. I'd consider Rafalski a better defenseman than White who seems to be able to do nothing more than throw the occasional big hit, be caught out of position numerous times & take untimely, undisciplined penalties (see the hit on Recchi that lead to the Canes getting the offense back in order)..... while we are on the subject of undisciplined play (something that must really frost Lamoriello's ass) how about Langenbrunner...... a double minor that leads to the winning goal??? Real "Devil-like" if you ask me! Canes 3 Devils 0
  6. Cities with the worst fans: 1. Philadelphia - No major professional sports championships in 23 years makes these guys the worst of all, bitter, angry morons with no clue as to what's going on.... they get on their high horse for a few years at a time only to be bitterly dissapointed (1993 World Series, Super Bowl 34, 1997, 1987, 1985, 1980, 1976 Stanley Cup Finals.) Nobody knows letdowns better than Phildelphia fans, not even....... 2. Boston - After waiting 20 years for their beloved Sox to finally return to the World Series they finally followed Larry the Cable Guy's advice & "Got 'er done", that coupled with the Pats recent success leaves the only pain to be borne in Boston on the faces of the die-hard, ardent Bruins & Celtics fans. 3. Los Angeles - Since Shaq left town the Lakers (fans that re-define the term pompous asshole) have been to the playoffs twice & bowed out early, since Wayne left the Kings have been a joke which leaves the Clippers (finally), Angels (sort of, aren't they from Anaheim?) & (honorable mention, since they used to be here) Raiders who's fans are not only terrible but flat-out bat-shit crazy. 4. Dallas - Cowboys fans, if your team is so good why is it that they made the playoffs once in ten years? Don't even get me started with the Mavericks..... I wonder if they are a rich boy's (Mark Cuban) toy/ publicity stunt or a legitemite sports franchise. The Stars..... don't even get me started, I'm not a bitter Buffalo fan but Brett Hull's foot was in the crease & that goal shouldn't have counted. 5. Chicago - Blackhawks fans have been so bitter for years about Bill Wirtz & his terrible franchise they have suggested two options for solving the problem..... have Bill commit suicide or sell the team to Jerry Reinsdorf, the only Chicago sports owner to have own two teams from the same city (Bulls & White Sox) win a championship. The Cubs may be forever snakebit, but their fans are dealing with it suprisingly well only 2.5 million death threats to Steve Bartman. The Bears have been perennial doormats until last season, though one does have to wonder what they will do with Rex Grossman (can he ever stay healthy?), Kyle Orton (have you ever seen him throw? Sickening!) & Brian Griese (troubled boy, the only guys I know to play for Michigan & be hated throughout the greater Ann Arbor area more than Griese are Bo Schembeckler's kids & that's because they stole the seats from the Big House when it was remodeled, cut them up & sold them for thousands of dollars on EBay..... BTW Brian is hated in the Ann Arbor metro area for being a terribly angry drunk who likes to throw barstools through plate glass windows & scream "Do you know who my dad is???".) Honorable mention- Miami, Seattle, Montreal, San Diego & San Francisco
  7. The only "bust" that I can see coming out of the first round is Tamba Hali, I don't think that he is going into a particularly good situation in KC..... I know he is going to get the opportunity to play opposite Jared Allen & will also have Kendrell Bell & Derrick Johnson playing behind him but I don't think that much of any of KC's defensive tackles & aside from Surtain they are without a playmaker in their secondary. I don't think much of Hali's talent level to begin with, coupled with the fact that there isn't a whole ton of talent around him I just can't see him having a significant impact on a team that finished 25'th in team defense.
  8. It simply says we made you look alot better than you really are.
  9. I'll concede that being hurt has kept him off the field but being benched I have yet to see..... with the exception of his first season with Fassel. As oposed to Klecko who just doesn't have the ability to crack the lineup, selecting him at #25 would have been a bigger disaster than selecting Cedric Jones 2 spots after Simeon Rice.
  10. Justice just doesn't have the feet quick enough to play LT in the NFL, Philadelphia most likely use Justice to replace Runyan on the right side of the line..... either that or Shawn Andrews will slide outside to tackle & Justice will replace him inside at guard. The other reason for his freefall was his arrest history : Just one more thing from this article for Lockspaz & his man-crush Brodie Croyle:
  11. Dan Klecko at #25, Jesus H. Fucking Christ you must be deluded..... you would have picked a guy at #25 that carried a 4'th round grade & was selected at #117? Not to mention the fact that he is nothing more than a special teams contributor for the Pats & wasn't even dressed for either of the two Super Bowls that he was on the roster for, but don't worry folks if Floyd says he should have been selected before Joseph then he must be better . Dumbass.
  12. Series is now tied at 2 games apiece.!!! Go Wolfpack!!!
  13. Good find Money, initially on draft day I was screaming my head off (a few beers deep of course) asking why we needed another DE but after sobering up the following day & reviewing things as a whole I warmed up to the choices the Giants made.
  14. Please tell me how on a hand off you have Yards After Catch?
  15. Good point but who backs up Osi on the other side? Thin air? If we get hit with a rash of injuries on the D-line where are we to get a good pass rush end from? Those guys don't fall off of trees nor are they hanging around as street FA's, I initially was unhappy with the Kiwanuka pick but when you think about it he was one of the best players available. For once the Giants didn't draft for positional need & took the BPA.
  16. Good find, good times, good memories!!! Here is to another season of these!!!!! :worshippy:
  17. Is that look of suprise on his face because you just pinched his ass?? Sinner.
  18. He totally screwed his chances of becoming a good NFL player by going & playing for the Yankees, the only thing he proved there was that he couldn't hit a curveball. IMO he was a much more talented QB than he was a third baseman.
  19. Sox re-accquire Mirabelli to catch for Wakefield tonight. Johnny awaits Monster night. Let's Go Yankees!!!!!!
  20. Terrible retort, try again: Try answering it this time, Emmons got hurt & trained in NY. Pierce got hurt & trained in NY as did Torbor, so did Pettigout, Peterson, Allen & others so explain exactly how training in Miami translates into being out of shape & therefore injury prone? Plax stayed healthy all season last year & trained in Miami care to explain that? Go ahead, try to answer it with a logical answer & stay topical. Go ahead & try.
  21. An inch taller & 10 lbs. lighter than Strahan, it's not impossible for him to put on 10 lbs. of muscle.... I'm not worried about this kid's size or ability, I thnk the majority of people out there are upset about this pick simply because they already saw so much depth at this position & need elsewhere. But again as you stated, going by taking the best player available the Giants did pretty well. I liked DeMeco Ryans (picked immediately thereafter by Houston) but I think Kiwanuka is the more talented of the two.
  22. Let's see; Webster - Rookie, one might expect a rookie to make a bad play or two considering he was never regaled as the second coming of Deion Sanders. Madison - Had a better season than Allen did last year, so aside from the age difference what is there to complain about? At least Madison can catch, something Allen hasn't done since his days at Syracuse 6 years ago, last I checked the first job of a CB is to cover & attempt to make plays on the ball while in the air.... not be a 9'th man in the box looking for run support. Also what is this "would be" crap, he would be a better CB if he didn't suck..... which he clearly does. The guy doesn't make INT's, which is his primary job..... why keep a guy around if he can't do his job?
