  1. Hate to point out that you are wrong again but since you make it so easy to do so, Marvin Lewis isn't the GM in Cincinnati.... he's the head coach. Duke Tobin is their GM & Director of Player Personell, try again numbnuts.
  2. Still avoided the question with another pointless statement. Again: Try answering it this time, Emmons got hurt & trained in NY. Pierce got hurt & trained in NY as did Torbor, so did Pettigout, Peterson, Allen & others so explain exactly how training in Miami translates into being out of shape & therefore injury prone? Plax stayed healthy all season last year & trained in Miami care to explain that? Go ahead, try to answer it with a logical answer & stay topical.
  3. He'll never answer that. Ummm, did you miss the fact that we drafted one in the 4'th round? Thanks for playing Captian Obvious.... what a tool. I would hope that he would, they were part of the same coaching staff at one point, but again a douchebag like yourself has probabaly forgotten this. 2'nd time this was asked & still no answer. 3'rd time this is asked & still no answer.... amazing. Really.... read below. OWNED! Who cries on and on like a little girl about not drafting true talent but wants to replace proven NFL starters with undrafted FA's...... amazing strategy, he must have also been in charge of Napolean's little jaunt into Russia during the middle of winter, probably also urged Custer to go after the Indians full bore without backup. A tutorial in Floyd-sense would be named: Classic Blunders in Life - How I Embarrass Myself Daily on an Internet Message Board. - Floyd the Barber A preface by Lockhart titled: I wish I was a real WR.
  4. I thought that you wanted Will Allen back? Yeah considering he was a better CB than Will Allen who we wasted a first round pick on.
  5. So, in essence, we drafted a faster version of your boy Will Allen & got him in the final round as opposed to wasting a first round pick on him.
  6. Oh look, a question that Lockspaz avoided answering...... I wonder where his "facts" are now? OWNED! Obviously that doesn't include you pine rider. I agree, he really doesn't care.... what you think.
  7. All of the Devils minor league talent is at the NHL level, playing overseas or still in college... the River Rats haven't been anything spectacular for a while because they graduate to the bigs quickly. LaBarbara = Fat, lazy POS..... Montoya is the shiznit!!!!
  8. Likewise, section 203 row b seat 7!!!!
  9. Nice mock Nemesis, the only concern that I have is that are all of these guys with that kind of speed going to stay on the board that long, let's face it though speed is a valuable commodity that cannot be taught..... you've either got it or you don't. You can teach running techniqes that can help maybe shave off a tenth or two from you overall time but it's not goint to make a guy like Clarett (who ran almost in the 4.8 range) all of a sudden run a 4.4 fourty. With that being said I like Mangold but I still think that if you are going to address the O-line in round 1 the Giants should go after an OT, I know that the talent drops off considerably after Justice & Ferguson but I think that center isn't as bad as the tackle situation. With one big push (from someone like DeMarcus Ware) Luke's back can go from problematic to shorting out our offense completely, I know we still have Whitfield as an insurance policy but I have to believe this is a larger problem than center. O'Hara doesn't put us in as risky a position as Luke's injury/false start/inability to pass block effectively does IMO. I'm only going to say that if he fell (depending on how the Giants draft board looks) into the second round I'd take a hard look at (& possibly trade up for) Eric Winston. He's atheletic, hard working & according to alot of scouts the best OT talent to come out of Miami in 15 years, even better than Bryant McKinney. I know about his knee & the fact his stock fell with kind of a sub-par senior year but it's the sort of injury (torn ACL) that comes back stronger after reconstructive surgery but generally takes 1&1/2 to 2 years to be fully recovered, with that being said he does have the one thing you covet in your mock.... speed, for an OT 4.89 is plenty fast & lot of scouts liken him to a young Lomas Brown, he's got good size & strength (6'6'' 310 lbs, 34 reps of 225 on the bench, 345 power clean & a 22 inch vertical leap) & would be a steal if he fell to round 2. Don't overlook him, it would be a mistake considering our need & like you said he doesn't have to start if Luke can hold up for another year or two but thinking long term this is a need position. Aside from that I really do like your mock with the only other quibble being McCargo, I've got a feeling that's we're looking at the second coming of Ryan Sims (all of his production coming from playing next to elite talent like Lawson & Co.). I would have gone with Dusty given his motor & intensity, I know McCargo is bigger & better suited against the run but I just like hustle over size any day. Finally, let me just say this; Is this your inner Gunny speaking Marine? That was funny as hell to read this morning & helped me start my day, thanks Nem.
  10. DFNG, not to split hairs but if you want to point out cheap shots just look in your sig.
  11. FYI, Randy Moss isn't related to Santana or Sinorice.
  12. Is this the same "Uncle Ernie" that got drunk on whiskey & molested you as a child? Is that what they suggested as you became a member of their "club" or just a coming out of the closet strategy? Did you mean "glamourous", you can keep this tidbit of advice, what happens in Vegas... stays there. So feel free to have fun with your transvestite brethren. You'll have to assault Lauren Bacall in the parking lot on the way to her limo in order to get one. Nah, I'll go & paint it across my shoulders like some prize fighter advertising an online gambling site. , I'd rather hold up a sign with this on the front: & this on the back: I wonder how long it would take before they threw me out?
  13. The truth hurts for Lockspaz & his "man crush" Croyle.
  14. Will be at the draft, along with two friends just back from their tour Iraq.
  15. At the very least it's a better & more accurate assessment than that "fan" if you can call him one.
  16. Can't pick up the calendar & do some simple math? Might be asking too much from their fanbase, hell..... according to their attendance records they can't even find the arena! As far as who is the best goaltender, I've seen Brodeur play for years in a game bogged down with the holding & hooking due to low talent players using the trap to win games because they can't compete with a higher level of skill. I've also seen Patrick Roy dominate during the heyday of Gretzky, Lemieux & Messier.... IMO Roy always had more talent & played during an era when there was more talent to play against. Brodeur might break Roy's records but Roy is the greatest goaltender that I have ever seen (having not been alive for the likes of Terry Sawchuck, Jaques Plante, ect.). I've got a real problem with this, my team is better because it sent more players to the US Olympic team..... that's nice, exactly what did the US Olympic team do this year???? Not a fucking thing, that's what they did.... their biggest contribution to the Olympics was marching in the opening ceremonies & acting like crybabies (Mike Modano) when they lost. Pathetic is what the US Olympic mens hockey team was this year, absolutley pathetic. Also, what exactly does that have to do with which team is better?? Because certian individuals are selected to play for their country's Olympic squad makes your team better than mine??? Just look at the words I underlined & tell me what one has to do with the other, aside from the fact that a team is comprised of several individuals not a fucking thing. The US squad learned this the hard way, they played like a bunch of individuals relying on their individual talent to get by when they should have tried playing as a team. Maybe they would have beaten more than just Khazikstan. I've also got another problem with this statement, "The Devils are better because they sent more players to the US Olympic team." Exactly who were the 3 best players on your Stanley Cup winning squads?? Three Canadians; Brodeur, Stevens & Niedermayer..... and they are making bullshit statements about having more "home grown" or U.S. based talent.... gimme a break. That's just another fucking cop-out, aside from the real fringe players or 3'rd & 4'th line guys you have 2 or 3 prominent NHL talents that are from the US & this "fan" as acting like the Devils are fielding the entire USA Hockey squad.... what a maroon!
  17. Yeah, watching Ed McCaffrey run the correct route only to have Dave Brown throw the pass 5 yards behind him was frustrating.... to see him leave town while management backed that useless, backward interception tossing moron Brown was too cruel for words. To think this team was better off with Danny Kannell at QB speaks volumes.... unfortunatley none of them good. Yeah, one of the few highlight reel hits that Shawn Williams had was breaking McCafferey's leg in 3 places. Some of the others included, making Jimmy Smith cough up blood on the sidelines after plastering him over the middle on a crossing pattern in 2000 against the Jags & forcing Marshall Faulk to the bench in 2002 after popping him so hard Faulk fumbled the ball & sprained his knee in St. Louis. Speaking of St. Louis: To be precise, the Rams found their guy 2 years ago in Steven Jackson & Faulk's production had been on steady decline since 2002. Let's not forget that Mashall is going into his 14'th season, he's played alot of football & had a great career.... in his prime there wasn't a defensive player on the field that could touch him one-on-one. Dallas' problem was compounded by the fact that after Aikman retired there really wasn't a clear cut QB in the system.... they tried to solve their problem after Jerry Jones saw what McNabb did in his 1'st two years & said, "I need a running QB!" so they tried to make Quincy Carter work but it didn't. Now they have a QB but only by rental as Bledsoe won't play forever & they still have no clear cut "starter in waiting" per say, the other problem the Cowboys had was that their defense which had been so dominant during the early to mid 90's fell apart all at once as players retired due to injury or left via free agency.
  18. See previous comment fuckstick, you really are a broken record. Way to go on just proving that you have nothing new to add.
  19. College highlight stats?? You mean his 59% completetion rate? (If this strikes you as good tell me please, I've to a bridge you can buy.) You mean the fact that he was sacked 36 times this season? (No pocket presence whatsoever) Croyles injury report: Torn labrum & two torn ACL's??? Major red flag there, did you miss it Captian Obvious?? He has Chad Pennington written all over him. On the other hand if you want to discuss college highlight stats, you might want to re-think you statement about Manning: Manning passed for 9,860 yards in his college career, in comparison to Croyle's 6,382. Manning won the Maxwell award as the nations top collegiate player in 2004, Croyle never came close. Manning is 5'th all time in the SEC in passing, where is Croyle? Manning's 79 TD's during is college career certianly top Croyle's 41. Face it, comparing Croyle to Manning is like putting poodles up to pit bulls.
  20. Ummm, in the season opener he got at least 5 touches on 2'nd & more than 5 yards... for a big guy he actually got to the corner pretty quickly & when he turned it upfield & stepped on the gas.... look out. And concerning what round you get starting running back material from did you remember a guy named Terrell Davis (drafted in the 6'th round)? He only ran for 2000 yards once in his career & won 2 Super Bowl rings, here are some others: Earnest Byner (10'th round, 280'th overall 1984 draft) 2 time Pro Bowler, Super Bowl Champion with Washington. Herschel Walker (5'th round, 114'th overall 1985 draft) 2 Time Pro Bowler, Among the top 50 All-time RB's. Bo Jackson (7'th round, 183'rd overall 1987 draft) Possibly one of the most talented RB ever, only his injuries prevented him from re-writing the record books. David Meggett (5'th round, 132'nd overall 1989 draft) All time leader in return yards up until a few years ago, 2 time Pro Bowler. Dorsey Levens (5'th round, 149'th overal 1994 draft) A great threat in the running or passing game out of the backfield with Favre at the helm. 1 time Pro Bowler. Curtis Martin (3'rd round, 74'th overall 1995 draft) 4'th all time in rushing yardage, 10'th all time in rushing TD's. Selected 3 rounds before Terrell Davis in the same draft year. Stephen Davis (4'th round, 102'nd overall 1996 draft) A great power back that terrorized the NFC East for years with the Redskins. Ahman Green (3'rd round, 76'th overall 1998 draft) 4 Time Pro Bowler & one of the main reasons Favre's career has lasted as long as it has. Olandis Gary (4'th round, 127'th overall 1999 draft) Perhaps this wasn't the best example but a serviceable back for the Broncos. Reuben Droughns (3'rd round, 81'st overall 2000 draft) Definatley better than Ron Dayne!!! Mike Anderson (6'th round, 189'th overall 2000 draft) See comments about Droughns. Rudi Johnson (4'th round, 100'th overall 2001 draft) Does it all for the Bengals, they tried to replace him with Chris Perry & it didn't work as he had a Pro Bowl season in 2004. To say that where you are selected in the draft predicates how good of a player you will be is rediculous, if that was the only qualification for being a good player then none of the above listed should have ever touched a football & guys like Blair Thomas & Akili Smith should have had Hall of Fame careers. Some people are unwilling to let players develop, interested in the immediate gain & not the long term, overall picture. We've seen this in the past with players like Ed McCaffrey, players that we were too quick to judge.... then look at what happens. Later in their careers they come back & burn our ass, I just hope that Jurevicius doesn't do that to us again when we face Seattle this year.
  21. The Cincinatti Bengals select: Tony Scheffler (TE) Western Michigan
  22. Yeah, a QB that can't stay healthy...... that's a great pick! And to think that Lockspaz called Manning skinny, look at that guy...... he looks like the kid that delivers my paper, all 112 lbs. soaking wet!
  23. I'm kinda doubtful that Arrington is going to sign here now, after talking to a friend of mine who works for the Giants (who's name & position within the organization I'm not going to disclose but I will tell you that he is part of the coaching staff). The front office is kind of enamored with him but the coaching staff isn't as high on his potential to help this team. I do think that if Carpenter didn't come in and win the job outright from either Torbor or whomever else is his competition then we really do have a problem. Carpenter seems talented enough that he should be able to start from day 1.
