  1. After Goliath picks him we'll all find out he's got a brain tumor or been arrested with 20 lbs. of blow & a dead hooker in his trunk..... but he's a good player!
  2. Money & Co; I'm going to be here for the draft tonight so there is no need to automate my pick, thank you anyway though! -R.C.
  3. Yes, this: And this; (summarized from The Sporting News Draft Guide)
  4. Might they be father & illegitimate son.... well, much less effective & illegitemate would be the proper term.
  5. You had to know these whiners were going to either pick a TE or DT just to try and play up the Giants..... glorified blocking TE is all I see on this guy, but I'm sure after DeShawn Foster & the rest of the Carolina backfield gets hurt he'll be a great RB!
  6. My exact reason behind picking Bing, very versatile & the best player available.... even better it fills a need for the Bengals. BTW, nice pick Money..... I fully expect him to be there available for us at #25 on the 29'th!
  7. Still no answer from the self-professed football experts except more mudslinging.... perhaps when he/it/them aren't busy acting like GOP candidates at a debate they could offer what they would do differently to your plan (in detail; player they would draft & the reasons behind that pick... ect.). That would be refreshing!!
  8. So by this statement TC also had something to do with us drafting Manning?? The very same player who you say was the 3'rd best QB in that draft, so Coughlin also shoulders "blame" in your eyes for this??
  9. Perhaps but the DT crop in next years draft is supposed to be deeper & more talented... I know that Ngata is a prototypical candidate for the nose in the 3-4 but how much time would he see behind Ted Washington?? Lawson can come in & play immediately. I think that it has alot more to do with poor scouting & no attention to their defensive needs as far as why many Rams defensive picks have failed..... who was their last good defensive coordinator?? Lovie Smith?? When you have a coach that really exclusively focuses on his offense & doesn't care about the D then you wind up having poor defensive drafts & worse defensive play. Can we also trade Floyd & Co. for a hair dryer..... oh wait, it's the same thing.... they both blow alot of hot air with nothing to show except some noise.
  10. Did DiPietro have something to say after the last game about "Bring on the Rangers"???
  11. The last two players on that list are RFA's & we would have to compensate their teams for them, how much would all depend upon where they were drafted..... given the needs we have all over the field we shouldn't squander our picks compensating other teams for fringe NFL players. Concening Joseph this is from ESPN insider (summarized): Concerning the "ONE clear starter" statement, there are several teams in this league that use a rotation at the defensive tackle position & do it quite well (Colts & Eagles amongst others)... for the most part around the league now the only true 3 down lineman play the outside or are playing the nose in a 3-4 defense.
  12. Continue this one, makes it easier on you doesn't it?
  13. I absolutley agree, he's got alot of talent & I can't think of another coach as of now that would be better suited to get more out of him..... other than perhaps Parcells.
  14. True but didn't Cleveland sign Ted Washington to play NT?? OLB is the greater need.... their outside pass rush last year was pretty innefective. Lawson can also play as a down lineman.... Tamba Hali was rated higher but fell in recent weeks with a poor 40 time & isn't as versatile as Lawson. I think this is a good pick given the other options/needs.
  15. Anyone see DeMarcus Ware or Shawne Merriman in this kid?
  16. I think that you will be pleasantly suprised with what Webster will bring to the table this year & I do share your concerns about Peterson however I do think that the greater need is at LB'er. On top of that I believe there is more quality available at later rounds at the CB spot as opposed to the LB'er, I do think that your 2'nd round pick is right on.... OT should be addressed soon before the player drafted is forced to play immediately. I can understand the pros & cons of this move.... Bulger is talented but injury prone, there is a need here & with Bulger in place he could learn for a year or two. However St. Louis has lived & died by it's offense for years, their defense has been losing talent since it's SB victory in '99 & has needs along the line & in the defensive backfield.... Cutler wouldn't have been the way I would have gone but if you are Linehan & you are a former offensive coordinator I could understand why you might want a guy who you have groomed under center directing your offense.
  17. BTW, I like your mock but I don't think after signing Madison that the Giants will go CB in the first round, they will probably pick a LB'er & I doubt that Orien Harris lasts until the 3'rd round.... the guy has Cornelius Griffin written all over him.
  18. According to Buddy Ryan the best player on his defense was the one most willing to throw a late hit or go after the other teams knees. Pretty decent one too until Fassel got this bright idea that Jason Sehorn would be as good at returning kicks as Deion Sanders.
  19. 4 WR's split out only one RB in for protection, just chuck it as far and as high as you can & hope someone comes down with it...... did Matt Millen attend the Mike Martz school of Offensive Philosophy??
  20. Only 74 tackles out of your MLB'er & a guy from the 17'th ranked defense overall (23'rd against the run )..... no thanks. At least when we got Pierce last season we stole him from one of the top ranked defenses.... we knew he could play, this kid might be that good or he could be terrible. Long story short, we knew what we were getting.... the Jets don't. From The Sporting News: Scouting report on Brad Kassell (summarized): Good size to play the middle but is slow in diagnosing the play, Titans will likely let him go... doesn't have the speed to play MLB'er & is a liability in coverage. The Jets will probably use him for depth... due to his lack of speed I don't see them putting him at either of the outside linebacker positions, he might start inside if Mangini decides to go to the 3-4 defense in his first year.
  21. Straka from Poti!!!!! 3-1 Rangers!!!!! :worshippy:
