The national league this year, with the exception of the Mets, is a swamp of mediocrity. everyone runs hot and cold. the hot team of one week becomes the 'not hot' of the next. i can't predict who will win the wildcard. but i would prefer to have the best starting pitching and a group of veterans going down the stretch. oh, and the best player ever heating up at the right time.

Why should you be scared of anyone? The Mets have the best team by far in the NL, perhaps all of baseball. The only thing that can beat the Mets is the Mets themselves.

semi sweep, reds took thurs game, it was 4 game series. but it was a 3 game sweep. they never needed benitez, that was why.

That's a good point. Bonds has like the 2nd highest games errorless streak but that's because he only goes after balls he can catch and he almost always throws to the cutoff.
