  1. I think the Bye-week will lead to a lot of heads rolling. Diehl might have to be replaced with Locklear for the OL to do anything and primarily protect Eli. Eli was hurried on every fucking play the last 2 weeks. The running lanes are cut off and Brown seems to be the only RB with the patience to wait for the hole or get into the end zone when reqd. These 2 fixes are a must
  2. This offense is in a funk. A funk would be an understatement. They are playing and executing piss-poor stuff. We need a spark on this offense to transform us and help us come out of this shit. I think the problem begins with the OL. The OL has been playing like shit lately and Bradshaw is just not the right fit for this OL to establish the running game. Andre Brown seems like the better runner and he is far better at following his blockers and identifying the holes. Everytime he had been handed the rock he makes things happen. I think Andre Brown should start and Bradshaw and Wilson should split the remaining carried. Brown could spark this offense. Eli played like cowdung yest, but those easy drops by Bennett and Cruz didnt at all help. Neither did that Bradshaw fumble. All of those drives where we could have gotten some momentum and deflated the overrated Bengals a little - we promptly exhibited epic fuckupation and blew more air into the Bengals balloon and totally deflated and extinguished ourselves. The Bradshaw fumble on a good looking drive in the second half at the 14 was really the dagger that made the O lose its bearings and go on a downward whirlpool spiral with Eli uncharacterically chucking shit while falling down and crap like that. Having said that - it was also one of those days where everything went right for the Bengals. Tipped balls falling into the RB's hands and ending up being gains instead of INTs etc. Everything went right for them, and our fuckups only patted them along the way. This team needs a spark - Brown needs to start, Bennett needs to catch, the OL needs to play better. All of this can be done if Brown starts. He seems the best RB we have right now with Wilson providing the change of pace. A break might be good for Bradshaw.
  3. Fuck zip. Just get it to the open player and win us games. Pennington was the highest rater QB one season with a feather arm! Andrew Luck doesnt have zip.
  4. He practiced, seems fine and will start Sunday. And I think he will be the factor this week. I have him on my FF team but am not starting him.....
  5. This is the game that is going to be the franchise changer for either team. Major major overhaul from Coach to QB to everything else.
  6. Giants historically suck balls like nobody's business after the bye week. I just hope they beat Cincy, get their act together and return - lay their customary egg and then ram into the playoffs. Luckily our division sucks. But with Eli at the helm - we are always in it. The GB game should be one of the most interesting ones all season. I dont trust our secondary against the already fixed GB Offense though. Good luck and lets see
  7. I think its a bunch of things - 1) Eli knows Nicks isnt 100% percent so he cant make the throws that he'd naturally like to make to Nicks often which spread our O a bit. Which is why Eli seems to be zoning in on Cruz more often than he'd like. And Cruz is getting double teamed and Nicks is not able to get open. That is a problem 2) I dont know why Wilson is not getting a few more reps in Playaction situations where Eli could pass to him out of the backfield. I havent seen that all season. 3) Martellus Bennett has regressed and needs to be given better plays to become useful. Once he starts getting yards - the O clicks automatically. We cant expect a passing game to click with one WR to zone in to and the playcalling on the running game being pathetic and not at all creative. Our Offense is just like our Defense - We are geared to go for big plays and get a chunk of yards similarly to the way the D gives up yards. And then go and make a clusterfuck in the end-zone or turn it over.l
  8. We are being out-coached. We are just going in a doing what we have been doing earlier week in and week out whereas the opponents are figuring out what we do and are trying to take it out of the equation. We are not adapting and trying to introduce new things and are just going ahead and doing the same shit. Hence we are sucking donkey dick right now. The Special Teams were just that on Sunday - fucking Special. Pathetic.
  9. The 49ers fed something to Eli and Gilbride during the halftime break and it was laced with some voodoo shit. Ever since the second half of the 49ers game Eli has sucked balls like nobody's business and Gilbride has a dick so far up his ass that he has to push out of the way to brush his teeth. The playcalling has been absolutely atrocious!! This was expected - the Giants atleast managed to win a couple games we had no business winning against Skins and Boys. Our usual slump has started gentlemen. Atleast it started a little earlier than expected this year - get ready for the Offense to right its ship with the D playing the way it is for the second half of the season!
  10. Its Cowboys vs G-Men - Boys vs Men - End of story. I dont care who plays. Its football. As long as both QBs are playing - then I dont care. Bring it on! I wont complain if Bradshaw or Nicks etc are not playing. The QBs are. Done. End of story. Bring! (Madjack style!)
  11. The only worrisome point for me is - The Giants have brought it to 3rd down the fewest times in the league. If the Run D is so pathetic - no wonder teams dont even have to get to 3rd down until the red zone. We are a beaten up slow secondary. Hence we are good in the red zone because lesser area to cover - the brains are there...the brawns are not I guess.
  12. With Cruz I think the situation is a little different - the Giants were the ones who made Cruz who he is right now - he knows and understands that. I think he'll want to stay with Eli and with the Giants and become an awesome twosome rather than go for the money. He seems like a guy with his head on his shoulders and isnt a money first person. He will get what is worth but not Megatron style money but he doesnt want to be in his position either. He will get a decent contract and stay. JPP also might get the same stuff. Nicks I dunno - he might field mammoth offers etc if someone gives it to him. Id love to see all 3 locked in - Eli has re-structured once - he might again. But I feel Nicks and Cruz might be affordable - JPP might not be. He is just that damn good and Giants draft D-Line.
  13. Hey hey hey!!! Can a brother get some love here?? I watch every single Giants game from India man!!! You talking UK? sheeesh!
  14. "Dear Mr.Hall Sir, I thank you profusely for the courtesy extended to us and for giving us an opportunity to score against you and your esteemed defense and organisation in general. We thank you for soiling yourself and for your charity in your sizeable donation to the Victor Cruz salsa foundation and permitting him to score a TD. Once again, we immensely appreciate your very valuable contribution and will forever be in your debt for your kindness. Sincerely, Giants"
  15. Thats the problem. Eli plays at the level of the opposition. If the secondary sucks Eli sucks its like he doesnt have a challenge and says awww shucks no challenge and craps and manages to win it somehow. If the secondary is fantastic - he takes is upon himself to be brilliant and rape them. Washington for example.....he just flat out was off last sunday.

    RG III

Im not knocking on RG3 - I think he could be one of the greats and a fantastic QB for years to come and might have a good core along with Morris. Washington needs draft picks to build the team around him - The Skins dont have that. They cant rely on FA around a young core. You could think about paying Cruz a boatload at the end of the year though if the Giants dont lock him up well before that Im just saying - I need to see a lot more from RG3 and consistently for me to annoit him as black Jesus. We've seen similar production from other QBs as well - they also prepared equally well and executed their first year. RG3's 'pocket QB' stuff is still left to be seen for sure - he has a great arm and poise yes, but thats because he is a running threat. Take that away after a couple concussions or injuries and its a whole diff ball game - I dont wish any injury to the kid - Im just saying be prepared for a relapse - you are seeing a player teams are still figuring out for his sheer ability. Once they do and start playing him diff, it changes. Megatron and Stafford is a case-in-point. The others Ive mentioned. But I still maintain the fact that a QB has to overcome his growing pains and suck and make all the mistakes possible and then come out of it - like a caterpillar coming out of a coccoon as a butterfly. Only those QBs have been successful so far in the NFL - as is evident from the current QBs playing.
  17. They'd look like the Rams or Navy. Ill pass on the gold pants - and stick to what we've got. Although I wouldnt mind black pants once in a while though
  18. ^^this I think against SFO and the Skins - our whole defense was geared up on getting to the QB because both of them didnt have big name WRs and while we were reasonably able to stop Gore and Co , we under-estimated Morris. We also underestimated their OL. All game our gameplan was to get to the QB - and rape the second rate WRs - but if against a good team we plan accordingly then its diff. Starting next week - we will again fuck up by going after Romo and will let Felix Jones run a bit on us - but Romo has some first rate WRs in Austin and Bryant and Witten. But from there on - I think we can stop the run quite well if we plan accordingly.

    RG III

Andrew Luck, Weeden are in that mould right now....theyll develop an NFL style - not their own style of play.

    RG III

Wait till the teams figure him out - Vick, Newton, RG3 - all of these people were fucking unbelievable their first year - then relapsed/relapsing into oblivion the next and next few years. Its the ones who just 'sucked' and played the traditional QB role their initial years that are shining now - Brees, Brady, Peyton, Eli, Rodgers etc. While I feel RG3 might be very good - I think its only a question of time and study and adjustment to him. The traditional ones are the tough ones to study and plan for because they dont have a certain style. They can suck for 20 plays be awesome in the next ten. With guys like RG3 - a rookie sensation - its a matter of time - mark my words. Iceman said it first!
  21. Why would we not be able to go 3-0 over the next 3 weeks? We should have easy wins - otherwise we will gas out and lose against Atlanta GB and NO in that highpower offense scheme. GB and Atlanta will be playing some seriously pissed football against us. No will be playing for their lives maybe. Thats a lot tougher than the next 3 - we need one seriously tough game before the bye - otherwise we usually wipe ass in the bye week and lay a fresh turd on the field the following week. Thats the Giant problem
  22. Make the Pro-Bowl international. Play the Pro-Bowl in London or some shit - thatll get international fans intererested since theyll see the best players play - and the game will look real interesting. Kind of like making Chelsea play soccer in the US and getting Beckham etc. Instead of the regular season games - I think the Pro-Bowl in London will make a lot more money. Fuck Hawaii
  23. Thats the point. When a team sucks balls for entire lifetime - their fans have no choice to be but cool. Hence we dont have a problem with the Skins - even though they swept us last season. Atleast - they arent assholes - cant afford to be...and have been a ridicule for the league to feel good about. Hence we dont have a problem with the Skins. Wait till the skins start winning....as a division rival theyll be equally disliked - not hated - but disliked. with that bugger as QB - theyll start winning soon and winning a lot. But then again - we got our own giving up similar arm and leg.
  24. The defense played like Eli did. Sucked in most parts - got some key plays done - and got us the win when it actually mattered. Today our defense = today our Eli. Washington didnt fuck up - most of the turnovers were some serious defensive plays. Eli's INTs were pisspoor throws
