I think one of the most interesting stat I read was about RG3 - he has less than 10% conversion ratio on 3rd and long (higher than 3rd and 7/8). Thats the stat Tuck was talking about. He said we cant allow those 4-5 yrd gains on 1-2 downs. Because 3rd and short is when RG3 becomes the most dangerous. The first 2 downs for Washington's offense and containing Morris will decide this game.

What others have said already - Ryan Torain's signing is a far better choice assuming he has kept himself conditioned. Although I cant believe - Cadillac came for look in and wasnt drafted. This coaching staff might be able to make him special. Torain could be the exact same player he is replacing - Andre Brown. Good guy, good player - just got hurt and got cut many times. Its exciting to see what happens down the stretch. Do we ever play the double RB set anymore?

Why the hell do we always start yapping about every player who is cut? Do you really think we need to look at an expensive DL considering Resse's credentials and how well we draft DL in general?? Giants wouldnt even have batted an eye-lid. They dont need Babin. We have enough cap room issues trying to keep Cruz and JPP and Nicks as it is. Babin didnt do much this year and his cost is just not worth it. No point in discussing this anyway. We never get DL in FA. We draft brilliant and develop them. Chicago is the only iffie there. With the quality of your QB, I dont think GB has any problem beating any of those teams. It was just an off day for them. Otherwise, their offense was always on fire. The Giants just somehow manage to get to Rodgers. Thats all. They are in his head. It happens. The way the Pats were in Peyton's head. Sometimes, these things happen. I hope we play Atlanta or Chicago in the playoffs. I dont want to play SFO or GB - we usually fuck up in re-matches in the same season if we win the first one. You have a heck of a team which is a little down with injuries. The Giants also had their injury problems - but they got their backups to step up. GB needs to do the same.

I was right. The game did get ugly in the first half itself. Just not in the way I expected Was hoping for a good clean injury free game - but lost Brown Paves the way for our dynamic rookie though.....although Bradshaw was a beast today. Some of those leaps over the players during the run was a thing of beauty to watch. As expected, the battle was won at the line of scrimmage.

I think what VG meant was that we are sinking now. We might not drown. But in order not to drown - we need a spark....and that spark will come from Brown and Wilson. Not Bradshaw. Make Bradshaw hungry and healthy and use him down the stretch. Right now, we need Wilson and Brown to pull away for a division win.

To a good game? This could be an ugly game. You have to understand - the Giants are the most generous in letting other teams get a turnaround. He made Cincy look like the 99 Rams. We made TB look special. We were down against Cleveland. GB might also be a little rusty bolty on O. Its not clicking for them - similar to the Giants. But its far better than how badly the Giants sucked on O the last few weeks (actually ever since second half of the SFO game). This game could get ugly very soon and might enter garbage situation by the 3rd qtr due to our generosity on both sides of the ball. I just hope, the Giants O has righted its ship over the bye. Osi has to go. We will draft DE in the first round again as usual. Whoever is available at 32. Blackburn is a pure success story. He has been very valuable for us. I agree in my mind but not in my heart. They should re-organise and put Wilson in the mix so he goes through the brutal stretch, makes his errors, let the passing game take over, and work our 1st round pick into NFL starting material come playoffs. Andre Brown should start NOW IMO. We have a rotating backfield no matter who starts. I hope the offense realises that designs our O accordingly. Equal carries to all 3 depending on situations no matter who starts.

Wilson is our JPP of this year. That kid is nasty. They wont let him get star start status just yet. Theyll work him in and make him a feature RB that this team needs. If its anything, one thing the Giants have is patience with players. Bradshaw might be a terrific competitor but I still feel Andre Brown gives us the best chance to win and is the best RB on this roster with a LOT of experience from multiple teams in just practice. Which is why he is so much better at following blockers and finding holes. So what if he doesnt have the 'skill' that Bradshaw does? Neither did Jim Brown! Brown is our man and should be. Bradshaw is just starting since he is the highest paid.

Exactly. His effort leaves a lot to be desired. His drops were inexcusable. It was like - Hey man!! I need it right here in the numbers. Otherwise I aint gonna stretch and try to catch that shit. I think its an overall Offensive mental problem with this team. They need a break. Couldnt have asked for it at a better time. Time for the O to take over after the bye.
