I wouldn't put Beason as atrocious. He is quite a leader for that defense.

The guy is a physical specimen. Evans is having a good season yes, but Odell has just blown up the league. This guy could have been Offensive Player of the Year competing with Murray if he had a full season. And if he did - well.....our season might have been different too. Everything changes - our running game could have been diff, playcalling, game plan....everything could have been diff since Cruz was being shut down almost every week due to no names outside of him on the team.

Overall, I think the McAdoo system with Beckham and a healthy Cruz and a decent TE should be in good shape. What we need is a new DC - a dynamic one like the ones the Rams have right now. We need to lock in Beason for the next 3 years. Always lock in the guys who WANT to play for us. They will try that much harder as Beason is and will if we treat him right. Will Hill is another example. Give them a life and they will give you theirs.
