  1. NightFire

    JPP

Just get him some Captains of Crush grippers and he'll be good to go.
  2. And here's hoping this is finally not a large issue. The Giants have talent that never plays. Coughlin was fired because of injuries...again. How he didn't drop Palemeiri is the real head scratcher. The Giants were top of the league for like 3 years running for lost time due to injuries. Most drafted players had no injury issues until they started playing for the Giants.
  3. This and Gentleman is an Ernie guy who doesn't believe in shutdown corners. I'm surprised he was franchised at all but must have thought franchising would buy time to negotiate a reasonable deal. Norman wasn't being reasonable so out he went. Probably going to make more money than the franchise tag now.
  4. That was the first item I checked last night when I got the NFL App alert. It's a fucking Monday night game though so that's a pain. Couldn't just for once be a Sunday 1:00 game not in December. Ahhhhh...well I'll be there and if you jabronees are going that's a bonus. Speaking of pains, there is a lot of night games and an overseas game.
  5. And that's why all this let's grade the draft after the draft is so asinine.
  6. And a quad. Guys probably a cripple.
  7. This, so this. I'm not sure what the plan was but apparently it was old Redskin 101 of blowing the wad in day one and then take a nap. Yeah, this is what I meant. It has been shown that stretching before exercise actually weakens you. No offence to Nas but I am very against bro science. Just because you or your buddy has done it for a decade doesn't make it the correct method. Shit, I still see many gym rats squatting with the barbell on their neck which is very wrong. http://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2014/08/stretching-before-exercise-is-overrated/376089/ http://breakingmuscle.com/mobility-recovery/two-new-studies-on-static-stretching-are-completely-conflicting And many more than I care to cite.
  8. Well...I know this will be controversial but...stretching has actually been shown to cause more issues than it solves. Progressively loading your weights until you hit your target has been shown to be the most effective in mitigating injuries in the weight room. All that is necessary is just to get the blood flowing and heart rate up. A few wind sprints and some push ups before games would be effective. My bet is that these are injuries caused by machines because all the smaller stabilizing muscles and tendons don't get the load necessary to grow with the major muscles. This causes an imbalance that produces injuries. Machines should be banned from all weight training. Back on topic. I think we all can agree that the Giants organisation does not feel that LB is an integral part of a defense. Here's the blind chipmunk finds a LB nut this draft.
  9. Ask the Bears which LBs were worth signing. As usual the Giants signed backups and injury risks for LBs in FA. I'd rather the money went to Trevathen and Freeman (I think those are the 2 LBs Chicago signed) then Jenkins. I'm with Carolina's Gentleman that shutdown corner is a myth.
  10. Sounds about right for the Giants blue print.
  11. Probably because he has all his fashion contacts here. I'm sure if the Giants out right cut him he'll just retire. Hopefully the new strength and conditioning guy will get these guys doing proper lifting. I've never seen the Timex center training room but the new guy should just throw all the machines in the trash (well...actually keep the pulleys). Basic barbell and dumbbell lifting.
  12. Why is it done this way? I noticed at the combine they have unofficial time. Is the combine laser timed?
  13. I am definitely going to miss that this year.
  14. This is something I don't understand about these running scores. Don't they laser time these like in the Olympics?
  15. Which is why I don't think the Giants draft Elliot. RBs in the top 10 is not considered a good pick anymore. If the Giants could remember that Vereen is on the team and use Jennings as the main with a few carries for Darkwa or Williams (OR here) then the Giants are fine. It was the stupidity of randomly choosing starters per quarter that was the issue.
  16. He was benched the final 2 games. It's over.
  17. Hopefully with Vernon and a good interior push the QB won't have anywhere to escape. The problem is when only one player is causing pressure there is a lot of room to slide around.
  18. Definitely which is why the argument about not having X amount of drafted players on a team after Y years is useless. The better you draft the more likely the team will not be able to afford the second contract. The Giants haven't been that team unfortunately but it does happen.
  19. He did have that INT once against Giants and he's often injured so this is a text book Reese LB signing. http://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/2016/03/new_giants_lb_keenan_robinsons_injury_history_amon.html
  20. What about that Ragland guy? I see in some mocks he's dropped though.
  21. The new Matt Flynn. The Broncos are in a really tough spot now.
  22. The draft is so cap friendly it can really put a team over if you hit on a good one or 2. Look what happened with Seattle and a 3rd round QB. That saved a lot of money for other positions. Shit look at what Cruz did for that one year and he cost basically nothing.
