  1. At this point, I'd like to feel that we're doomed. It's good for my psyche and it usually works in our favor at the end.
  2. Yes i agree.. most of these articles are ridiculous. However, I thought this clip from The Daily News today was funny:
  3. They just shared the same area code "212" back then
  4. If it's up to me, I'd put the Giants in Red Hook near down town brookly. Great location.. near the water probably a mile from the Statue of Liberty... people can get there by Train, Bus, or Ferry... It's mostly commercial there but there lots of low income housing... welfare... fuck that.. move them to Alaska... There shouldn't be any "housing" in prime areas like the Lower East Side for example.... I know it's a moot point now since the new Stadium is being built.
  5. That area is undergoing major construction.. from a new stadium to some other huge project I don't recall what the hell... That area's real estate value will mor than double in the next few years.
  6. That's it.. that's it... inferiority complex
  7. My wife knows next to nothing about football but she sits on the couch and watches with me.. she doesn't walk in front of the TV while they're playing... she tries to understand the rules and before long she'll love the game... My little nephew (8 year old) is all but a Giants fan.. He just told me he'd picked Rich Suebert (sp) for the pro-bowl..lol
  8. I'd be shocked if New Yorkers don't root for a New York team. I root for the Mets and the Jets
  9. I don't think many jets fans "hate" the Giants. It's not like we're in the same conference.. let alone same division. If anything Jets fans hate the Patriots.
  10. Most people don't like the Patriots. Even my friend who's a Dallas fan said he's rooting for the Giants.
  11. One observation from living in South Eastern CT.. and having met quite a few Bostonians... and Rhode Islanders... God they want to be New Yorkers. They try to act and drive the same.... but it's not the same... it's not.
  12. Evidently the dog didn't see my response. As far as responding.. period, this is a message board.. a chat forum, if you will...
  13. Every game takes a shape of its own. This game can go either way.. just like any game for that matter. NE are very beatable. They're both good and lucky. We have to be "gooder" and luckier. Obviously if we get to brady, we will worry about Moss and the others less... I say just play our game and let the chips fall...
  14. My theory is this: Whatever a man/woman says about you good or bad is a reflection of who they are not who you are. I, as a Giant fan and a New Yorker shall take the high road.
  15. The bottom line is.. we're one of the last 2 teams standing. The sub-plots are we went to Tampa Bay and beat them on their home turf despite being picked by ALL the "experts" to lose... then we went to Dallas and beat them on their home turf and watched Jerry Jones' face look like soaked socks... followed by the "He's my quarter back" Then we went to GB and beat them handily on their own turn in one of the coldest games ever... as a Giant fan, I'm very proud of my team... win or lose from here on. And you know what? If ANY team can beat the Patriots, it's our Giants.... America's Team.
  16. Haha.. good times, Bleedin. My 8 year old nephew called me from TN right after the game screaming "Yes!!! We won.. we won, Nasser"...
  17. Cool man.. hopefully you get to watch the game..
  18. Knowing how drafts go.. and given the recent history of the Giants, I won't put too much stock in to mock drafts like this one...
  19. Dude that sucks major balls!!!. The term PLDC sounds familiar.. isn't that the course E4s attend to become NCOs? Or maybe an E5 attends to get his E6? It's been a while.
  20. Regarding this thread... this proves Eli's dad is a genius... he knows everyone must pick NE to win in order for the Giants to win... genius.
  21. Not that I agree with this post... because as Mckeef said.. we need to win the first one... yet the post does have merit to it.. it crossed my mind.. I just didn't want to give it more thought.. let's enjoy this moment.. yeah the Patriots have been to the SB 4 times this decade... the Giants were in there in 2000... and now in 2008... I mean... we've been a solid team thru and thru... I can't say the same about the cowboys..
