  1. Ha, you must've been on the same side.... the bitch knew it too..
  2. I was there at the parade... I got there late because I made up for sleep lost the night before. I met a few Giants fans on the train and when I got there it was packed.. kindda hard for someone my height or any height for that matter to get a good view of anything. What struck me was the sea of fans all wearing Giants colors.. I felt right at home. I didn't like the floats being so far apart.. didn't like the players not wearing their Jersey's to know who's who. I mean those familiar faces were spotted easily.. but for the most part it was a bit difficult. Then people on floats whom are not players.. wtf.. except for one HOT chick on one of those sight-seeing buses.... I took a few pictures and when I download them, I will upload them here.
  3. From what I heard there had been 3 other teams that went undefeated till the Championship game.. and the Giants beat 2 of them not counting Super Bowl XLII. And I remeber that pass from Graham to Amani Toomer against the Broncos like it was Yesterday... he was initially ruled out of bounds but the other ref came from the other side and signaled catch and touchdown.
  4. I've never been there but I'll try to find a spot by Trinity Church.
  5. This is probably the first maybe the 2nd time I'd disagree with you Gateb. Even though I was one of Shockey's biggest critics, I feel we maybe too critical of him.. to a fault. Right now Shockey is part of this family.. the New Giants Family... He's a dangerous TE and he can be an integral part of us repeating next season. I criticized Plax a great deal.. and rightfully so. Plax hasn't proved me wrong.. he just lived up to the level I knew he was capable of playing... which was the reason I criticized him to begin with. Now it's Shockey's turn. I'm sure this experience taught him a lot.. Look out world.. #80 will be back... in BLUE.
  6. I think Shockey's best years are ahead of him. I have a feeling he'll come back next year with a chip on his shoulder. The guy is a great athlete and sometimes I think it's our expectations that are way too high. Cut Shockey? Why? He's a top flight TE. I'm sure he can get in line and play to his potential.
  7. Just imagine of Jerry Reese follows this with another superb draft with a nice addition to our defensive backfield. Webster is looking super and Ross is a great addition... just imagine with a solid Bob Sanders-like would do for this defense.
  8. I have a feeling Strahan is less likely to retire than Toomer.. both have 2 years or so. I'm glad we already got Steve Smith and Justin Tuck in place as the apparent replacements.
  9. Strahan is a down to earth person.. as opposed to the self-serving self-centered big mouth "unnamed source" Tiki. I know some would argue that he's was a great player for the Giants... stats-wise he was.. but he was a locker room cancer and I would go as to put him in the same class as TO. Thank you Tiki.. I believe the Giants paid you handsomely for your services... goodbye. Toomer is one of the classiest most humble human beings I've come across. The guy literally stood there and talked to me for 15 minutes while everyone was running inside escaping that blazing summer sun in 2002 training camp.
  10. Ok cool. I'm thinking about heading there around 8 am... just to be sure I get a good spot.
  11. I have to believe Reese is working his tail off trying to keep Spags but on the surface he has to say all the right things.
  12. I've never been to a parade. Any tips?
  13. Which makes this win that much sweeter for everyone.. Giants fan or not.
  14. I don't see how on earth the Skins don't make him an offer.... I sure hope the Giants FO does the same thing the Cowboys did to their OC... we should lock up Spags as the eventual successor to Coughlin.
  15. I used to live in Downtown Brooklyn and I'm thinking about driving down there.. park my car and take the train one stop 4 stops or so to City Hall... Yes I already emailed my boss telling him I'm taking a personal day tomorrow...
  16. Haha... my nephew is very excited. I wish the Parade was on Sunday to give me enough time to fly my nephew from Nashville.. can you imagine that 8 year old seeing those players.
  17. By the time the game was over I was totally spent. Whatever energy I had left was wasted jumping up and down when Eli hooked up with Plax.. and I still had my heart in my throat when Brady threw that bomb to Moss.. the 2 passes really. My phone rang one second after that last incompletion and it was my friends in brooklyn going absolutely nuts. They convinced me to go there so we can party.. and I did.. I was just too out of it to scream.. everyone knows how much of a die-hard fan I am when it comes to the Giants.. they were stunned to see me that humble.. I was just out of it.. and ended up driving to the back to the Bronx after I concluded going out and getting wasted may not be a good idea.. given that I have to be at work the next day... I got back home and I couldn't sleep.. I watched ESPN till probably 3 AM... went to sleep.. but didn't really sleep... I kept waking up... sure enough I emailed my boss saying I can't make it.. I was that out of it. Tomorrow I'm taking a personal day and I will be at the parade.
  18. It was a great super bowl. Fuck the haters.
  19. Nas

    Kawika

I take it he was signed to only a one year deal?
  20. Not having to hear those arrogant pricks from Boston talk about their 19-0. Last night America celebrated with us... the good guys won.
  21. Thanks to GreyHoodie. Very classy. I'm sure Badegg will follow suit.
  22. I can't say I slept.. I kept waking up.. my heart was beating during and after the game.. I even drove to brooklyn after the game just to hang out with my friends and talk about the game...
