It’s difficult to tell with those long striders. The 40 is overrated, but I’d like to see either a standout 40 from him (4.5 or better) or some impressive agility scores relative to his size.

2nd looks a little rich to me. But the combine may mean a lot for him; he does not look fast enough to be the guy, he shows very little burst into the open field. It appears he knows how to play the ball though, he’s coming back to the ball aggressively all over those highlights.

wasn't the choice between Andrew Thomas and Tristan Wifts (and Becton and Wills)? --- I think that one worked out well for us, Thomas has been by far the best of those players for a season and a half now.

Reese got fired because he had draft upon draft with maybe two good players. And mismanaged the OL. Three isn’t bad. That’s about the break even point where the roster stays at about the same level. Three or four showed they’re probably going to be useful players, and there’s still time for the other eight. A couple more drafts like this and we might have a team.

And corner. Maybe three of them.

Watching the Eagles- 49ers, the talent difference on defense for both teams leaps off the screen. Definitely not just a first and second round pick away from being on the same level.

Have to come out of the draft with some high end receiving talent. next biggest need is probably linebacker. also need more DL talent to give Williams and Lawrence a credible backup.

Never eat any of those things things on game day again.

This sums it up for me. To make it that far, then play their worst game of the season is such a let down. Last night we saw bad Wink, that was the kind of guess-wrong game plan that Baltimore fans complained about. I wouldn’t want him to change, but there are going to be games like that where every daring zone-blitz rushes into their protection and leaves someone wide open. It was rough last night, he couldn’t dial up the right D at all, guessed wrong almost every time. I mean the Eagles OL was practically getting fellated by the TV announcers, but so many of those gaping holes were the D slanting away from the design of the play.

That was really all I expected. every dice roll came up wrong so far tonight. I think the D has been taking big bets based on tendency, and the Eagles have been calling a lot of tendency breaking plays.

Just what I was thinking. Slayton should have drawn a PI on that play, but he tracks the ball like he’s returning punts.

The officiating is bad, but the Giants need to realize that this is the playoffs, the officials aren’t going to call the usual holds. apparently they will throw a bullshit flag though. Ooookay
