  1. Speaking of Safety, anyone have a good idea as to who that third one is going to be if it is not Deon Grant?
  2. Osi: Give me more money Reese: No Osi: Fuck You Reese: Good luck in free agency I'm not particularly happy with how things have turned out between Umenyiora and the Giants, just looking forward to the day this relationship is over. Everyone can move on and be happy. I would like Umenyiora to retire a Giant, but at the right price.
  3. He got better as the season continued and made plays during the playoffs. Nothing bad to say about the Hynosaurus
  4. No more delusional than any other fan of a rival team. His review is flawed. I think the Eagles have the potential to secure the division. Giants have another tough schedule ahead of them this season and the Cowboys are exceptionally prone to implosion. I have a hard time putting the Redskins in the same division in terms of play because they lack experience at QB.
  5. Cowboys self destruct again, Eagles get the division win; Giants get in via wild card. If we win the division I'll be pleasantly surprised, they just seem to do better sneaking in versus outright owning the division.
  6. Whoever bought the ring clearly it means more to them than to L.T. or his son.
  7. http://espn.go.com/n...-bowl-xlvi-ring The New York Giants unveiled their Super Bowl XLVI ring Wednesday, which also pays homage to all four of the franchise's championship teams. "We wanted it to represent the four trophies and have that feeling that you made the best ring that you could have made," defensive end Justin Tuck said in a statement released by the team. "I think we captured that." The ring, made of white gold, was designed by Tiffany & Co., which received input from the Giants' ownership, general manager Jerry Reese, coach Tom Coughlin and Giants captains Eli Manning, Tuck and Zak DeOssie, who also received input from other players on the team. The ring is covered in diamonds and has four Vince Lombardi trophies, commemorating the team's four titles. Each trophy is set with a marquis diamond representing a football. The Giants' logo is surrounded by the trophies and is set with diamonds. The top of the ring includes 37 blue sapphires. The ring also has some blue coloring, which was important for the players involved in the design process. The ring the team received after its 2007 title featured white gold and diamonds, without any additional color. "The blue makes it a little different," Manning said in the statement. "We wanted some blue -- the Giants are Big Blue. We definitely wanted to get a little blue to spark it up a little bit." Also included on the ring is the final score -- 21-17 -- of the Giants' victory over the New England Patriots, plus the years of the team's four titles (1986, 1990, 2007 and 2011). The ring also has the words "Finish" and "All in" engraved inside the ring. The words were inspirational phrases the team used during the 2011 season. "We definitely wanted 'Finish,' we definitely wanted 'All in,' " Tuck said in the statement. "Those were two things we prided ourselves on, not only during the season, but especially through the playoff run. And we won games that way. So we definitely wanted those in there." The Super Bowl champs will be presented with the ring Wednesday evening in Manhattan at Tiffany & Co. Manning, in an interview Wednesday morning with CNN, said he doesn't wear his 2007 ring much. "I kind of wear it on special occasions up to the start of the season, then I put it away," Manning told CNN on Wednesday. "It's a big ring. It's almost hard to wear." Definitely like this one better than the XLII
  8. Its definitely a personal beef that went public last year. Funny thing to me is I think they are both right about the other.
  9. I honestly don't see him making a single start in the NFL. Glad he can walk and run, just don't see him being the player we expected when we drafted him. Could still have a baseball career though?
  10. Yeah funny how that doesn't seem to work as well for the rest of us.
  11. Oh the Kenny Britt fans were just misguided.
  12. I laugh at every single one of you who had Jeremy Maclin rated higher and got pissed when we drafted Hakeem Nicks.
  13. Giants made the best of the draft, burden of drafting last for beating all the teams that were the media darlings. Been very happy with each Jerry Reese draft and this proved no exception. He was smart not to go after Coby Fleener and picked up players that slipped right to us in the second and third rounds. Every time one person talks about drafting the best player on your board there is a group yelling we need at this position and the best player for this position can be draft in this round. Very hard to fight through that. Have a good feeling about Adrien Robinson.
  14. Experience doesn't seem to be the biggest factor. JPP seems to be doing pretty well so far and he didn't have much as far as college experience. I just have a feeling about Robinson, didn't like the other tight ends in the draft.
  15. I can somewhat sympathize
  16. I think he is going to surprise a lot of people and will be considered the best TE drafted in 2012. Lately this has been the round we draft that odd offensive lineman prospect, Adrien is an excellent TE prospect that is going to be the new standard for Giant tight ends.
  17. Beatty had a decent season and expect him back and ready to continue right where he left off. Diehl spent too long at LT to move back to guard, should give him a shot at RT. I'd rather have Kevin Boothe or Mike Petrus in at LG this season and would like to see better play from David Baas. I don't think Brewer is ready, Locklear anything more than depth and for the love of GOD don't bring back Stacy Andrews. I think we can do better than Stacy Andrews. Offensive line has to be better this year than last...it just has to.
  18. Cleveland Browns pissed me off with their draft.
  19. Ladies, the pick is in and it is done. I think the hypothesis of we could have traded out of the first round or even up no longer matters. Trust that we got who we wanted. Player ratings really don't mean much at all. Its a guess at who can produce at the next level. Vernon Gholston was rated pretty damn high by everyone and produced next to nothing. JPP was considered a reach and a bust when he was drafted. I wouldn't be surprised if Chandler Jones turns into a bust. Point is that it just doesn't matter until they get on the field and prove themselves. One concern I have about David Wilson is his running style, I think it will be a problem or he could damn well turn into the next Barry Sanders. The thought of a NY Giants RB running backwards and reversing direction on the field is frightening. I think of it as putting Sinorice Moss in at RB and sure hope I'm wrong.
  20. JPP backflips were just so much more impressive and fuck the Bucs for taking Doug Martin.
  21. I wouldn't let Umenyiora go for anything less than a high to mid second round pick and it has to be in this draft. Umenyiora played half a season last year and still produced. He can play in 2012 and have a double digit sack season for any team in the NFL. There is only one problem with trading Umenyiora and that is the contract he will demand from his next home.
  22. Big difference between taking a RB at 4 for Cleveland Browns and NY Giants at 32. I think its a big risk to start the 2012 season with Bradshaw, Ware and Scott.
