  1. Yeah, still think Jamon Brown is the next Chris Snee? Lol
  2. Barkley averaging 3.5 yards per carry. Eli 4.2 per attempt. I ffing hate this offense.
  3. He is playing well. Its funny that the trash heap OL from other teams now starting on our OL appears like an all pro compared to the rest of our garbage line.
  4. Well as we all know, Tanney is the next Rich Gannon, Kurt Warner, Brad Johnson, so put him in!
  5. Darnold looks good. The others look okay. Too early to tell.
  6. To the comment earlier on age, some QBs can play into their late 30s, but many others could not. Eli might be one of them. I think hes still capable but is so shell shocked and has no confidence in his line that it affects his mental state and decision making, even on plays without pressure. Imagine going into every pass set thinking the line will at any time botch it and absolutely fail you, even on non blitz plays. Thats gotta have a psychological impact on a QB.
  7. In my assessment, 2014 - 2015, we were dealing with the effects of a bad defense (combination of not filling it via the draft and free agency), then in 2016 - present, dealing with the effects of a horrendous offensive line, one which JR somewhat tried to draft for (and failed) but was never willing to sign top tier free agents. Gettlemen gets in and brings in a few new free agents, including a major investment in Solder, plus a high 2nd rounder in Hernandez, and the results simply haven't panned out. Solder may not be worth $15+mm per year, but no-one expected him to be this bad; you figure you at least expect an average starter on the line, not a complete fuck up and liability. We are now dealing with the long term effects not being able to put together a coherent offensive line. I get the argument that if Rodgers, Mahomes, Wilson etc were QB, things wouldn't be that bad, but I think at best we'd be a 6-7 win team, so QB isn't the core of the issue in my estimation.
  8. Good thing we have Alex Tanney, the next Steve Young, Rich Gannon, Kurt Warner type QB.
  9. 3rd down play will be a checkdown, 2 yard out route, or sack. Watch.
  10. This is honestly worse than the Dave Brown years. Also, Hernandez is shaping up to be a bust at this rate.
  11. I honestly think this move alone is Gettys way of tanking the season. Our average defense is about to get a lot worse.
  12. Another perspective. Hes a tremendous disrupter, headache, and problem for OCs for half the game. Tomlinson and Hill cant claim that type of impact yet.
  13. I do, and we now have a gap on the DL. Those other two arent even close to what Harrison brings.
  14. A free agent DT of his caliber and production would cost upwards of 14-18 mil per year on average, so getting Snacks for basically half that was a bargain against our cap. Thus the move to trade him makes no sense, especially given he has two more years on his contract and we only got a lousy 5th rounder. The Lions got an absolute steal and Getty was drunk and/or raped.
  15. Whyyyyyyyy!?!?!?!?....considering his very high production, his $7mm and $9mm cap hits in the next two years are absolute BARGAINS. The guy is a stud at DT. Going to miss him.
  16. How are we deep at DT? Outside of Tomlinson and BJ Hill, a rookie, who do we have?
  17. Why's that? Can't trade the entire contract?
  18. Blow it up! Trade Odell for a 2019 and 2020 first rounder.
  19. He's now re-united with his former Ohio State teammate Marshon Lattimore who was worthy of a top 12 draft pick and not a bust like Apple.
  20. I'd make anyone not named Barkley available for a trade.
  21. Let's also not forget a confused Will Hernandez who keeps letting pass rushers leak through.
  22. Watch, Schurmer will do his interview on WFAN today and proclaim the offense moved the ball fine in the last 6 minutes of the game, and to ignore the previous 54 minutes of the game; there are no problems with this offense.
