  1. He'll still get picked inside round 2, and he'll be making more money than any of us will ever see. If college players can be drafted while having reports of beating their girlfriends this guy will get drafted high (heh) just for a pot charge.
  2. Remember the raving calls for Moore? Almost like the coaching staff knew he wasnt ready to be a starter, who'd a thought.
  3. Perfect. My actual prediction, Giants take a good hard look at Nelson Agholor in the second round. Natural slot WR, return man, faster than what the tape shows, natural hands and feel for the position. Steve Smith 2.0 out of USC.
  4. Mariota. JR goes off the deep end. Eli is playing for the Redskins next year. In all honesty I don't know, every year thousands of mock drafts all end up the same just ass wiping material. I'm hoping for someone with a funky name, we havent had a Prince or Kiwi in awhile.
  5. The Giants are paying #1 WR money to a guy who cant make anything happen unless he has a #1/#2 WR in front of him and is an injury risk. Got cha.
  6. In the last two seasons he's had 5 TDs, three of those TDs coming in week one of the 2013 season. He can't make plays happen unless he has a legit threat on the outside. He's an overpaid/hyped slot WR who had a hell of a break out season but doesnt show up when it matters (like a majority of the team). The Giant's could of shipped him out the door or let him walk and their record over the last two seasons would of remained the exact same, Cruz has zero impact on a game. With OBJ in the lineup Cruz has a chance to bounce back to earning a top 15 WR salary, but count of the FO drafting a WR in the first couple of rounds.
  7. Whens the last time you've seen Cruz come up big after signing his contract in 2012? He's failed to live up to even a portion of that contract. Randle has shown up more the past two seasons then the Salsa Dancer ever has. Cruz needs a legit #1 across from him to do anything other than catch 3 yard out patterns, yet he's making money like he's OBJ. The guy is playing for his health after making his money and I can't wait for the day the Giant's can use his cap space for the same production at 1/3 of the cost.
  8. He carried the team through the playoffs in 2012. Honestly if this is the case Nas why arnt you calling for the head of everyone else on the team who fucked the dog the entire year last season.
  9. Not overly impressed thought I seen more poor tackling and angles than anything else. I mean if he's the best RB in the draft then I wouldnt mind the Giant's taken him, they need RB help bad. At the same time if they do pull the trigger they better damn well hit on O-line starters with the next couple of picks or else the guy isnt going to be running for many positive yards. I do like his cut back ability, seems to know how to bounce back, has the right amount of speed to get away from guys.
  10. I think it's because if you look back at it, there's more holding penalties that should of been called then the NFL/Officiating want's to admit. Granted Eli did a hell of a job avoiding going down, but the play should of been called back in retrospect. I'm not complaining though lol
  11. NE game should be fun. Gonna try to make the Vikings game. See how many of you mugs turn up for a free beer.
  12. Hope the rest helps, he's gonna need it for when he gets back and the coaching staff drills run containment into his head. Looking forward to seeing what he can do starting across from JPP.
  13. I miss what NFL network used to be. They fell into the same path as ESPN/Sportscenter. Just a bunch of bullshit with a few minutes of sports reporting. Shame, they had something special with NFL films.
  14. Any chance we can get C.C.Brown back, both of them are on the same talent level, could get C.C. for cheaper.
  15. Well outside of just releasing everyone this year and incurring millions in dead space cap the next season they are letting the contracts play out. They got guys who I would expect they want to build with, all these one year and two year contracts are up next season, heck the entire starting offense other than OBJ, Cruz and Beatty are basically gone next season. Doesnt look any better on defense. Why cut players now when it just going to hurt you in the long run with dead space? Let the contracts play out and see who, if anyone, you want to resign. It's painfully obvious the Giants have been getting reafy rebuild the last couple of season despite what FO/Ownership has to say, by getting ready to let half of the team go. You don't sign multiple players to one and two year contracts and let all your "star" players sit on a contract year.
  16. You know as lack luster as people say this FA period has been, I wonder what other signings the Giant's could of made with these 'impact' players some posters have wanted, I personally liked the Harris signing. I mean the Giants are heading into a year where by the end of it, the franchise is potentially flipped on it's head. JPP, Eli, Prince, Jennings, heck I think only 30 some odd players are on contract for next year. Me thinks the FO was saving money cause the 2016 Giants are going to be a completely different roster from head to toe than the 2015 team and they want to see who will be getting carried over. Weird to think Eli might be taken his last snap in blue this season.
  17. I would agree but from everything i remember about the guy during the draft was all about his arm strength no one talked about his football fundamentals or how good of a QB he was. Every highlight of him was just him heaving the ball downfield and the WR making a play on the ball. Granted every highlight of Tebow in college was just an option play or the occasional short pass the WR turned into something big. I just meant everything I've read about Tebow is the moment he was criticized about his passing ability he's worked harder than anyone I've read about trying to improve his game. I mean isn't that the type of player you would want on your team? Even if he's just a backup he's still better than most backups out there on his physical ability and drive to improve. Even after all this though I still think he sucks. Maybe just that he's one of the few players i read about who want to improve instead of just looking for a better paycheck or the next drive by.
  18. Sorry Tebow I mean, but close enough. Seriously doe when a fat fuck like Jarmarcus Russel or whatever his name was, gets taken first over all but a guy like Tebow who from what I've read about the guy has worked harder than anyone to become a better QB has been out of the league for the last couple of years. Have to wonder why teams were hesitant to sign him other than the college frenzy fanbase that follows everything he does. But signing a murderer or dog killer is good publicity apparently. Ok rant over.
  19. Coughlins tree; Coaching tree[edit]NFL head coaches under whom Tom Coughlin has served: Marion Campbell, Philadelphia Eagles (1984–1985) Forrest Gregg, Green Bay Packers (1986–1987) Bill Parcells, New York Giants (1988–1990) Assistant coaches under Tom Coughlin who became NFL head coaches: Dom Capers, Houston Texans (2002–2005) Kevin Gilbride, San Diego Chargers (1997–1998) Dick Jauron, Chicago Bears (1999–2003), Buffalo Bills (2006–2009) Lane Kiffin, Oakland Raiders (2007–2008) Bobby Petrino, Atlanta Falcons (2007) Tony Sparano, Miami Dolphins (2008–2011), Oakland Raiders (2014) Steve Spagnuolo, St. Louis Rams (2009–2011) Assistant coaches under Tom Coughlin who became NCAA head coaches: Bobby Petrino, Louisville Cardinals (2003–2006; 2014–current), Arkansas Razorbacks (2008–2012), Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (2013) Randy Edsall, Connecticut Huskies (1999–2010), Maryland Terrapins (2011–current) Lane Kiffin, Tennessee Volunteers (2009), USC Trojans (2010–2013) Dirk Koetter, Boise State Broncos (1998–2000), Arizona State Sun Devils (2001–2006) Matt Rhule, Temple Owls football (2013–current) Paul Haynes, Kent State Golden Flashes (2013–current) Cowher; Coaching tree[edit] Assistant coaches under Bill Cowher that became Head Coaches in the NFL: Dom Capers: Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans Chan Gailey: Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills Jim Haslett: New Orleans Saints, St. Louis Rams Mike Mularkey: Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars Ken Whisenhunt: Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans Dick LeBeau: Cincinnati Bengals Marvin Lewis: Cincinnati Bengals Bruce Arians: Arizona Cardinals
  20. Are you really trying to tell me Cowher had any influence on Lebeau and Capers coaching career. lol what. Both of them were coaching defense before Cowher was even playing the game. And Tomlin never served under Cowher, he was an outside hire. Seph this is JackStroud level stuff lol.
  21. There's a documentary on youtube I think, I'll try to find it. NFL cheerleaders get treated like fucking shit by the teams. They get paid worse then minimum wage, they cant make commission off of team activities things they are involved with, like signing pictures and such. They get caught doing a single thing wrong they are automatically banned from the NFL, unlike players who can fucking kill someone and they are back in the league next year. The documentary was pretty old 2006-2007ish but I have to imagine not much has changed.
  22. She's a ref though. From what I read she's been doing it as long as the other refs in the NFL. No reason to think she'll be inferior in any way, besides every year it's the same thing "This is the worst year of offciating I've ever seen" so maybe change should be something welcome in the ref ranks.
  23. Most refs don't get run into, no reason to think she would. I now after they adjusted where the refs stand a number of years back you havent seen many refs get run over.
  24. If Cruz comes back at 100% then the Giant's shouldnt look at WR till round three. From what I understand this draft is stupid deep at WR and you can get a quality starter in the later rounds. See if the Giant's can beef up the Oline and Dline with the first two picks, unless they feel Cruz has lost his explosiveness then suddenly WR is a very thing position.
  25. I never understood that punishment and the fact that it was handed down from Mara to the Cowboys and 'Skins, made it look worse.
