  1. Yeah Wilson was in the same boat as Chad Jones, nothing that anyone could of seen ended their NFL career. Jones a victim of an accident and Wilson is a victim of a underlining health condition no one had any idea about.
  2. Yeah I'm a Doctson fan, if the Giants can land him in round two I'd be ecstatic.
  3. Stanley isnt worth the trade to #10 though. They could probably get him at #15 anyways.
  4. I said it before, it's an interesting draft, mainly because JR is in a save face mode this year. Many people have us going with the safe pick in Lee, Stanley or the risky pick in Floyd. I wouldnt be surprised to see JR go Elliot or Tredwell simply because he wants to make a splash. Who knows what's gonna happen, JR could pick a fucking QB for all I know at 10.
  5. Dammit Coughli, Palmieri ...wait who's gonna take the blame now?
  6. About an 2017 1st, 3rd, and 2018 3rd.
  7. Yeah with rookie contracts now being basically capped at four years (fifth year option) teams cant really draft a higher round rookie and let him sit for a few years because he's gone the first chance he gets to start somewhere else. Gone are the days of drafting a lineman in the 10th round letting him sit for six years and having a blue collar starter when he comes off the bench.
  8. I dont think Wentz/Goff/Whoever are even remotely close to being on the same skill level or being as NFL ready as Eli, "No means no", and pouty pants. Even if for some reason the Eagles did something stupid and drafted Jack/Ramsey/Tunsil and Wentz dropped to number 10 the Giants shouldnt even consider it, although it would be an interesting discussion in the draft room.
  9. I franchise tag can be rescinded at any time until the players signs his name on the dotted line. If Norman didnt want to be playing for another team instead of being a greedy he should of signed the deal. If anything I would think it works out better for the player typically since they are usually worth the money if they are getting the tag in the first place.
  10. Oh and the 'Skins got a 28 year old corner who's only had one good year in his entire career. Just when you think the 'Skins learned.
  11. So two games a year OBJ and Norman are going to be ejected by the first quarter.
  12. aaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnddd He's back on IR.
  13. I don't see the fascination with Stanley, he's got a lot of learning to do before he's a NFL OT and the Giants are already dealing with a rookie trying to learn to play OT in the NFL.
  14. Weird to think that this year teams are making a push for QBs, from what I've read and understand Goff and Wentz arnt nearly as QB ready as guys like Luck and Ryan and such. But I guess you go and get your guy. Wonder if the Eagles have some inside info on who the Rams are going for because you have to be 100% sure they arnt going to take your guy to make this type of move. Or the Eagles just dont fucking care and want someone else besides Bradford leading the team.
  15. This. Jack isnt going to fall and Floyd isnt a 4-3 LB. Unless the Giants can leap frog into the top six or seven they really have no way of getting a first round talent LB. And fuck if that happens for all we know JR goes and drafts Elliot.
  16. Jack isn't going to make it past Jacksonville, Dallas or the Niners. He's simple the best LB/physical talent in the Draft after Ramsey is taken. Heck the Browns would take him simply because he's there at 7. The Ravens would take him cause Suggs I'd old as fuck and their recent LB has been a pretty big disappointment. If anything Tunsil has a veteran chance at dropping is the Bucs don't take him.
  17. Stanley is another Flowers, strong but doesn't know how to play against speed/strength in the NFL. I really don't want another developmental player, I want someone who is going to start day one. Now if the Giants would somehow land Tunsil.
  18. He's a 3-4 situation edge rushing/pass coverage LB. He's not a 4-3 player unless the Giants convert him to a DE and try to make Clint Sintim 2.0 happen.
  19. Cant stay healthy and cant crack the starting lineup. Some say he suffers from the same problem that Moore does, he's immature and doesnt take what he does seriously.
  20. Well it's not the Rams pick anymore once it's traded, they have lost all rights to it. The position of the pick however will still be based on the record of the Rams, but it's still considered the Titans pick at the end of the day. So if the Rams were to fuck up, they would just lose a pick they still have, such as a 2017 2nd round pick, or the 2018 first round pick.
  21. I still think it was a raw deal for the Rams, Wentz and Goff arent nearly as NFL ready as the experts are making them out to see, if this was a trade for Luck or something I would agree. But you're right you cant have a team in LA that doesn't have a face to the franchise, so they mortgaged away the next few seasons in hopes that their defense and RB can keep carrying that team. The Titans got the best deal they can out of this draft, they now have a lot of room to build the team around Mariota and hopefully turn those picks into a winning team. We all know what it's like to be on the good side of the "go get your guy" idea, we traded a fair bit for Eli and it paid off in the end. Now it's just another wait and see situation for the Rams, is this going to go down as another draft blunder as it usually is, or is it remembered like the Eli trade.
  22. I cant see how unless they literally trade away their entire draft next year plus another first round pick or so. And no one is that dumb, like Mike Ditka dumb.
  23. I've actually been more up on this draft then recent ones. JR is in full save his ass mode and it will be interesting to see who he drafts or whatever he does. With the Rams doing the EA thing and trading for the face of the LA franchise it pushes a lot of top 10 talent down in the boards. I don't think the Giants have any trading partners at 10, the Bucs and Bears arent really threatening on doing anything crazy and dont need a QB. At worst they might be able to get a team in the mid teens trying to jump up over the Bears who might grab Treadwell but since he's nothing to write home about I don't think any team is willing to make that move for a player like him. Honestly with what it comes down to the Giants are either taking Stanley or Lee, with the worst cases being Tredwell or Floyd.
  24. I think the only value they have gained is the value of trading up in the first. I really don't think there is to much difference between pick 110 or 113 in the fourth and at that point it's pretty much roster/camp fodder. Meanwhile the Titans make out with two extra second round picks and a third this year and an extra 1st next year. At the same time the Rams need a QB to push them to the playoffs, I mean they went 8-8 with that rookie RB (Gruley?) carrying them.
