BlueInCanada
Think he had like one of the higher drop rates in college, and hasnt really developed into anything more than just a straight line WR, like he doent do a good job going for contested passes, or running a route tree, just had an awful combine showing from all the draft pundits profiles on him. Still all coachable, and if it takes him a few years to get it all together he has the time.

CrazedDogs
he sounds like Tim Carter. But at least this guy was a 5th round pick instead of a - what was Carter, a 2nd? 5th is about right for a guy with great raw tools that can't catch for shit. BlueInCanada
Guess what the over/under is on games Jones starts this season. I would assume the same as the relevancy about this post is in a thread about Darius Slayton lol
Treehugger
I don't see much in those highlights tbh.
mastershake
I'm content with the 5th rounder for him, in a backup or WR 3/4/5 role on the roster (probably 4 or 5). We have savy route runners in Tate and Sterling Shepherd that a burner in Slayton could potentially compliment the offense well... though he's probably going to be playing behind Latimer, Coleman, and maybe even Russel Shepherd at first. gmenroc
Slayton as a return guy?
Tempest
Jerry Reese definitely would have traded up to grab him in the second round. Hopefully he learns how to catch quickly because Gettleman isn't keeping guys because he drafted them.
