Interesting move. Giants sign Acho and release WR Marcus Harris from the practice squad. A whole lot of Eagles fans are screaming about this move and whining that the Giants are going to pick his brain and learn the Eagles play calls, etc.

Acho played for University of Texas and was a consensus first-team All-Big 12 linebacker ( three-time first-team Academic All-Big 12 selection. He was also a finalist for the 2011 Lott Trophy for college football's Defensive IMPACT Player of the Year, Lowe's Senior CLASS Award and Wuerffel Trophy. He led his team in tackles in 2011 and, over his 4-year career, recorded 278 tackles (159 solo), 41 TFL, eight sacks, seven forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, two INTs, 13 PBU and 26 pressures.) - a 6th round pick of the Browns in 2012 who was injured in preseason and was on the IR for the entire year.

The Eagles traded Dion Lewis for him. Acho had a good preseason and had shown lots of promise and fans were shocked that Philly cut him yesterday, apparently to make room for Najee Goode who they felt was a better special teams player. The fans think that Acho must not have fit into Chip Kelly's system and thought he was an up and comer.

Who knows...for now he's on our Practice Squad and any team can grab him like a free agent if they want....of course, if they do, they have to add him to their active roster.
