We seem pretty light in the safety position. I have a hunch Ojomo gets cut again once Will Hill is activated.

On the other hand, so much happens from week to week with injuries that anyone on the practice squad could become a permanent fixture for the season just out of sheer lack of bodies to replace the broken ones. Ojomo could end up being a long-timer after the first injury shows up. Who knows?

I'm really anxious to watch Cooper go to work and very curious how he will look at this level of play. I have high hopes for that kid if he can stay healthy and stay on the field.

Other then when he was on Special Teams..(where he made some good plays).......he looked like a chicken with his head cut off in that last pre-season game...took at least one bad angle that lead to a TD.......it was his only action of the year...but man, he has to do better than that if he gets in on Sunday night.

They must be really high on him...cause they are only carrying 3 true safeties....and he is one of them.

Really surprised they only kept 3 safeties because they use a 3-safety set almost half the time. It would've made a lot more sense to keep your boy Sash than Ojomo (and I like Ojomo), it's just that we need more than 3 safeties IMO.

I've got a hunch that TT will see time at Safety.

Sash got his bell rung but good it sounds like and probably is done with Football from the word back here.

TT or Ross.....that would be my guess too.

You know we don't have any bets this year, right?

I'm pretty sure the plan is to put Ojomo at safety.

Hahaha!!!

We are thin at S, but once Will Hill comes back well have a little depth.

I also agree that T2 may see some time at S.

Ross probly not, Webster might see a little action there or even Prince.

I thought Sash looked as good as he has ever looked this preseason. I was surprised they cut him. A little on the small size, but a warrior mentality and he seemed to be in an awful lot of plays out of sheer hustle. I must've missed him getting his bell rung. I didn't get to see the last game because it was blacked out here which made no sense to me.

I liked Caldwell too. Not sure why they cut him.

Ross played Safety for the Gman back in 09' for a game or two when we had a similar shortage..I wouldn't count him out so quickly. ....he has done it before.

Reese is expecting a sack on every play.

Why is JPP not starting...? He is a better every down player than Mathias......

I thought JPP was still recovering from the back surgery he had.

If any case I'm sure the coaches arnt trying to rush him back onto the field.

Still makes me wonder why JPP didnt get surgery earlier in the off season until waiting for June.

That's probably it, good point. And I know he will get plenty of time on the field it just didn't really sound feasible to me to move Kiwanuka back to the line....at least not with our linebackers this year...
