MakeMeSomeFoodHo
there seems to be an ongoing problem with the giants..they collapse in the second half every year. Im not sure what to attribute that to, but my first guess would be the coaching staff. second is injuries discuss.
Sephiroth
It does happen every year. As it stands now, it's tough to tell if it's the coaching staff or the QB play, but since there's a gazillion dollars tied up in the QB my guess would be it's the coaches who will be shown the door. Eli is clearly not the problem. It's not his fault that he has no time to throw the ball. It's not his fault that his receivers can't catch. Like every QB, he throws bad balls from time to time. gmenroc
I think the reasoning can differ from year to year. There is no question that this year, the schedule of the first 8 was beyond easier than the schedule of the last 8. In years past, it's been injuries, coaches, or whatnot. That said, I'm not giving up hope yet this season. Two wins against the Cowboys could get us in the playoffs.
JMFP
Realistically, need to go 3-3 from here on out. Jets.....winnable Redksins....winnable. Cowboys.....could split. Then, the Giants would need to beat Saints, or Green Bay, or Sweep Cowboys. It's a tall order, but so was winning in Foxboro. If the offensive line shows up like fucking pussies again, forget it, though.

Sephiroth
seems to me that jim fassel got fired for injuries and 2nd half collapses Yes, but it's still an apples and oranges comparison. Fassel's team clearly quit on him in his final season. Coughlin's teams never do. That's one thing that you can say about him.
Herc
they quit on him tiki's last season, tiki just wnated to go out with a bang and happened to save coughlin's job
