ksm7
The Dog should have went with the Bengals as the 1 team you can pretty much bury. The Seahawks still play in a division led by the Cardinals, and there is time for them to right the ship. Unlikely, but more likely than the Bengals making any noise. valid point, although the bengals have been competetive against some solid teams this year, and in the improbable scenario that they put all the trash aside and just play, they have good talent that can win games. on the other hand, the dog would say that the lions may be the best case as being dead and buried at this point, and the move they made is basically sending the message that this year is a wash (albeit, it was a nice trade on their part for this reason alone...). BIGBLUE01
The Lions or Chiefs are done at this point IMO. Cowboys not too far behind.

Allstarjim
The premise is being a Giant fan. I think the Cowboys are in trouble strictly because they have little room for error at this point. Injuries are taking there toll and losing Romo is about the worst thing that could happen to them. I sincerely believe that they can only suffer two more losses the rest of the season and still get in to the playoffs, because 10-6 might not cut it. The Eagles are in the same boat, but they are healthier than the 'Boys at this point, and Westbrook should play this week. The Skins are playing well and we will see if they can keep this up in the 2nd half. The Giants need to play a little better than they have in recent weeks as well if they intend on keeping this pace up in the 2nd half as well, because they are beginning to enter into the tough part of their schedule, with the bye week already behind them. Bengals are never able to put the trash aside, and Palmer is hurt, so I don't see it happening. However, I agree with the dog about the Lions. That is a much better choice than the Bengals. BurnThePhilFans
at best the cowboys get out of their next 3 game stretch at 1-2 putting them at 5-5 on the year. They'd have to win out or lose only 1 game to have any shot at sniffing the playoffs. They are done.
