so-cal dub
Hopeflly we keep the momentum. Pretty stupid to come out and run the clock out I think. Eli had momentum and they get the ball to start the 2nd half.
RandolphScott
Hilliard was a great receiver when he played for us. does anyone know why we let him go? Another Awful Accorsi decision?? He wouldn't take a pay cut, did you read any local newspaper this week?
randoff
Hilliard was a great receiver when he played for us. does anyone know why we let him go? Another Awful Accorsi decision?? True! But we have Smith, Burress, Tyree and Moss!! Younger guys! Should the Giants may have went for three with 2 T.O. left? Or being 'content' w/14 is better? US Patriot
He wouldn't take a pay cut, did you read any local newspaper this week?Saw nothing about pay cuts. Why would anyone who plays well take a paycut? If anyone should have had a pay cut ever year he was on the Giants staff, it was Awful Accorsi. He sucked as GM. Iceman_NYG
Hilliard was decent and one of Collins's main target on 3rd down. But that was it. He wasnt all that. The one person I was upset about letting go Joe Jurevicius. Still have no idea why he was let go that easily.
RandolphScott
I saw many things on Pay cuts in the NY Daily News, NY Post and even in the NY Times. I don't know if he played well all the time, but I liked him as a player.

It is the top defense...1 forced pass and the momentum could of switched. You dont play it risky against this D...
gateb
It is the top defense...1 forced pass and the momentum could of switched. You dont play it risky against this D... Exactly. Gilbride has a gameplan where we aren't going to force passes deep against this defense and there's no point in changing that with everything going our way. Unless you picked something up against them, which we had. Throw the short/dump offs like we did the first scoring drive. Get into FG range. We werent that far from it. Another one of Gibride's major faults. How amny times have we seen them waste the clock and nullify a scoring opportunity?

Playing it safe kills momentum. Not that it will happen, but I wont be surprised if TB ties it up to start the 2nd half.
