  1. Oh, I think drafting Grey was a way of hedging that bet. In the good news camp, we will be able to evaluate Grey in-season. Either way, I can't see them bringing Barkley back long term. There is a small chance they tag him again, but I tend to doubt that. Barkley is worth double digits...but low double digits...I am good with 10-12 per with injury outs...but nothing longer than 2 or 3 years.
  2. He was cleared of the high ankle sprain. If he is off of it and only does light stretching on it to maintain some level of range of motion and avoid the stiffness 3 weeks from now, 3 weeks sounds about right. I have sprained my ankles many times, to the point of crutches and various types of support, and I was always done with that stuff after 3 weeks...but the soreness and stiffness and regaining flexibility was always the worst part. Figure with the million dollar care these guys get and his importance to the team, his recovery will surpass anything most of us have access to.
  3. Out Thursday...week to week. 1-3?
  4. Doesn't hurt that you can't touch a WR without a PI penalty either.
  5. Yeah...he wasn't useless at G for the Skins...not top notch by any means but certainly beyond serviceable. Tough to say if it was coaching or position change..likely a combination of both. And yeah, if Neal doesn't take massive steps forward at OT this season, a similar approach will be needed.
  6. Curses are bullshit. Arizona game will simply tell is whether we got a team full of pussies or a bunch of men who took one on the chin but are gonna get back up.
  7. I think that's generally true...not as bad as it seemed for is and not as good as it seemed for Dallas. That said, I am not gonna sugar coat the line play on both sides of the ball as being anything more than absolutely pathetic. And now, the pathetic players that started are injured in some cases, prompting a new, presumably more pathetic group to start. I am not saying all hope is lost, but we have all taken a big step away from the sunshine and rainbows end of the optimism scale...and for good reason
  8. Spend the 100 bucks for season on NFL+...watch live on mobile or watch replay (condensed, all 22, or normal) on tv
  9. Unless the line behind them is worse...because it is. And if that is the case, every one of tuem ought to be thrown off the team..cap be damned
  10. Then go back to a traditional 4-3 with Thibs, Ojulari, and Okereke at LB. Let Robinson, Riley, Lawrence, Williams, Nunes-Roches man the on-the-line spots. At least experiment with the lineup here in week 2 cause week 1 proved to be a big ol pile of bullshit
  11. Not a bad observation. Every single player top to bottom was made a flat out bitch in week 1. Cowboys did what they wanted and every single player just took it...repeatedly. The fact the Cowboys were resting players in the 2nd quarter to stay fresh cause from minute 2 of the game, they just knew it was over. After days of thinking about it...I can't remember watching a game where one side was as dominant as this one. Sure, there have been bigger score differentials, but just the whole lack of fight, lack of fire, defeatist attitude that every player exhibited was the most shocking.
  12. Week 2 isn't mid-season yet....Winning!
  13. Yeah...everyone was stoked about Neal and Thibs...everyone. Both were gonna go top 10 and we needed both pass rush and offensive line. Nobody can blame anyone for drafting them. That said, both have been underwhelming at best. Neither can set an edge with their size/toughness and neither wins with speed/athleticism. I would try Thibs at off the line LB. See if he has a nose for the ball at least. And I would move Neal to G where he can just plug up the works with his size. If those moves don't increase production...they can both be deemed busts
  14. Bring in every O Lineman who has ever taken an NFL snap and have fully open workout.
  15. Oh...and good to see Peart is getting an MRI along with Thomas. Might have to start Ezeudu at LT if those guys can't go. Fun times.
  16. One would hope...but guys gonna be a bit sore after getting their asses kicked on Sunday night...I could see coaches laying off too. More interested to see if Thomas practices at all this week.
  17. If Thomas is out, the next question I have is how much you save if your QB literally dies...cause 49ers are gonna kill him dead.
  18. With two games remaining against the Eagles...another Dallas...and the 49ers...given last night, that's an easy 4 more losses. And Thomas is getting an MRI on his hamstring...if he is out, I just don't know. Jones literally had less than 2 seconds to throw last night...you cannot win that way.
  19. Well that was fun. Watched til the end. Guess I am either stupid or a die hard...
  20. Yup. At least with it being this bad, you can kinda take the approach of moving pat without focusing on it at all...just trashing the whole game tape and pretending you're 0-0 and not 0-1...for whatever good that'll do
  21. Gonna be a 50 spot here before this one's over
  22. Might have 34 sacks allowed by then...
  23. Will hang on to watch first drive of 2nd half..but that'll be my line. Stadium is half full of Cowboy fans...you can hear it. Half the Cowboys aren't even sweating.
  24. Outside of getting picked and letting Lamb free, wasn't terrible...good holding them to 3
  25. Well...defense gets to show what they can do...see if secondary holds up
