I have nfl+ which gives me access to the all-22 replays. I've wanted to watch just to see if guys are open or if it's just a matter of having no time to throw. Look...I joke and exaggerate a bit...cause I truly feel bad for Jones...cause we proved in the SB that even Brady fell to constant pressure. That said, we are back to passing 5 yards when we need 12. Back to being 1 dimensional after 3 series. Back to turnovers and allowing points off turnovers. Now we have added shitty special teams too. Jones, even with time, even with talent around him, is good enough to win...but hasn't been good enough to cover for anyone else's deficiencies. And I think he is gonna be shell shocked at some point, if not already, beyond repair.

This past week...I was of the impression that if we fo 1-3, we might as well go 1-16. Not saying that's what I would root for...but 1-3 with our remaining schedule is almost guaranteed no playoffs. I am at a loss at this point. The commitment to Jones is as questionable as ever. The front office/coaching, I really like, and want to stick with at least another 5 years. That takes them through Jones deal and into the next QB...be it Jones or someone else. I wonder if he scouting department needs an overhaul? I wonder if the influx of FA cash this coming offseason will make a difference. The disappointment over how this season started has crushed any optimism built in the offseason...so it's almost square 1.

Neal's biggest issue is balance. If he leans forward, he gets thrown down and run around. Leans back, he gets bull rushed. Definitely better suited for G at this point, but with the quicker DTs in the league...he still needs to focus on his feet and hand placement...as well as stance.
