  1. It'll be wrapped up well before Christmas, specifically on 12/3 after we beat you for a second time. Really? has anyone told Romo yet?
  2. Torbor, pierce, Emmons and Wilkinson would be a good group for a 3-4. With our DE's in the shape they are, it may be what we go to as a primary D. But I would useRobbins as the NT and Willie/Kiwi as the ends.
  3. Thats cool Nas 9iread your other reply also). Too bad. it would have been awesome to have a member of the board on the Giants. I guess the coaches didn't want you fattening up the players with hot dogs and slushies. I'm a decent FG kicker too, I've never played soccer or kicked for a team (played DT), but since i was a kid I loved kicking FG's. Growing up i entertained myself in 2 ways. Pitching a baseball using the outside of our fireplace as the catcher (had some nasty breaking pitches back then) and kicking FG's using the telephone line as the uprights. I always had a very strong leg, i could nail em beyond 50 yards but i wasn't consistant. I'd shank probly half my kicks.
  4. Once teams start putting 2 people on owens every down, romo is nomo.
  5. I have to dissagree lorf. The 50 mil may not show up on the final payroll, but it still has to be factored in. You're still investing that money into a single player. Say you sign him to 4 years $30 Million. You're basically paying $20 million per year for one player. How is that different than the yanks dipping into their vast recources every year? Fact is the people with the most money have buy the best tos, thats just life. As long as there is no salary cap you can't complain about the Yanks willingness to spend the $$$.
  6. Here's some words of wisdon to the wise man. The Colts escaped their wake up game vs the Bills, their gonna come out determined and focused and they'll drop 40 + on you guys. Once they are up by 20 (about 10 minutes into the game) and the Turds have to RELY on Romo, he'll be throwing prayers and end with 4 INT's. I also anticipate TO's melt down in this game that will send you sprialing downward to the depths of Redskin territory. Unfortunately, we lost our wake up game. We'll run alot in this game and beat the jags. BTW, The gap narrowing means you're still looking at our asses.
  7. I thought he did admirably considering it isn't his position. I think if worse comesto worse, with some practice and game experience, we could survive with Willie at DE. specially if we could scrounge up a couple LB's and run a 3-4 more.
  8. I have no doubts that one day soon Eli will be among the elite NFL QB's. But right now he is better in 2 scenerios. When he is not asked to shoulder the load for 4 quarters and chuck the ball 40 times, or when he has all the pressure on him in the 4th quarter to come back for a win. You have got to blame the coaches, we are unbeatable when we run 35 times per game. Why do we run 21 times vs the bears in the rain and wind? Also, why are they not running more 2 minute offense? It's obvious Eli is a different QB when the O is fast paced and he is running the show. I really think we'd be better off if TC handed the reigns over simliralry to how Dungy hands them over to Peyton. Give him a handfull of plays for him to selesct from each series and let him run the O more.
  9. move McKinzie to LT, Deihl to RT and Suebert to RG. I think McKinzie is a better option at LT than anyone else, and we simply could not play 2 TE on every passing down. Like you say, run. losing and LT is devastating, we have what could be the deadliest duo at the RB position. Toomer is out and we're playing unproven guys at the # 2 and 3 WR slots. We need to run more than any team has ever run before, we need to run so much us fans call the run boring. We need to run as if all of our QB;s we hurt and Coughlin himself were playing QB. I havn't heard the latest as far as when Osi will return, but i could live with a Osi/Kiwi duo. I think we should run a nickle type defense as our base defense with Pierce and Torbor as the 2 LB's. Torbor should be blitzing most downs and we keep a safety up as a deep LB. I think Antonio is good enough and determined enough to take the middle of the field and make it his.
  10. You'r choice. The Giants win the super bowl this year or next, but for several years following it they under achieve. Or They are like the Colts/Eagles and be in the championship hunt every year, but will not win one for several years, if at all. There is no i want them to win now and be competetive every year answer.
  11. Who could be more worth 13 mil? He can play 7 positions and bat 310 + with decent power.
  12. Basically they committed around$70 - $80 million on an unproven flach in the pan pitcher. When did Tom Hicks buy the Redsocks?
  13. Derosa signed a 3 year $13 million deal with Cubs. Link
  14. 1. Hire a muscle specialist to work with the team during the week. Making stretching a priority to keep muscles loose. 2. Tell huff to run the ball 3. Tell Lewis to blitz 4. star running more trick plays to make the games more fun for the players. there's alot of pressure building on offense. 5. Run 2 back sets with Tiki and BJ.
  15. Not just Tiki though, Jacobs should have gotten 15-20 carries Sunday night in that weather. He got 2.
  16. How bout this. H.C. - Ron Rivera; Bear D.C. It's a matter of time before he's a HC and we need a defensive coach. O.C. - Jim Fassel. Yeah i said it, he's an offensive guru and he has familiarity with some of the players and the team. D.C. - Mike Singletary Or at O.C. how about Jim Caldwell, the Colts QB coach.
  17. Mine too. I wore my Eli jersey for the opener. For the eagles I didn't wear one umtill half time, then i put on my Tiki jersey. For the Seahawks game I wore Eli again. For all of our next wins i wore my Tiki jersey. For the Bears game I forgot to put it on, the 8 PM shit messed me up, basically I sayt and watched football all day and never thought of putting it on. Tiki jersey is 6-0 and I forgot to, wear it.
  18. It's hard to sustain long drawn out drives when you do not run the ball. The fact the the coaches decided to turn last night into a passing game in the cold/wind/rain makes me question the squash between their ears. You have the best RB in Giants history and the leagues leading rusher plus a bruising 260 lbs RB and you run 21 times in THAT weather? our coaches are morons. Felley has the leg definately, but on a wet field kicking into the wind down 4 anyway, the only logical thing to do was to punt and hope Feagles canb pin them inside the 10.
  19. All he had to do was was punt, even if the ball went into the endzone the bears would have at best started on the 20.
  20. OK guys, if you're gonna make excuses for the coaches bringing up our injuries, lets discuss them On offense we started without Toomer. Then lost luke. On defense, we were down to using a DT as a DE. Strahan, Osi, Tuck. All injured. Our D was patchwork at best. how did we call the game? Well, we threw the ball ofcorse. You have Tiki running wel, and you have jacobs on the sideline. We could have ran the ball relentlessly. We could have ate up the clock and keep the D on the sideline. Instead, we throw the ball in a cold/windy/rainy game with our # 2 WR not playing and our LT getting injured. Please do not make excuses for these coaches, yes we have countless injuries, but the coaches dod not play to our advanteges. Our coaches gave away this win, bottom line.
  21. I'm not saying he played well, he did look horrible. but I don't think he played bad enough to warrant bench time. He threw some bad passes, lots of those were from throwing off his back foot. If you think he had protection, I really don't know what to say. What I saw was Whittle getting owned and Eli getting his arm swatted on a few occasions, and constant pressure making him throw from his back foot.
