I think Martinez is a great addition, and Vientos was sent down to AAA Syracuse. I am sure at some point this season someone will be injured or need a rest and he will get called back up. I agree with the pitching, they did have a good spring, hopefully they can keep that up. I can't start thinking about playoff contention, I just want to have competitive baseball come July 4 at this point.

I could not imagine trading up for JJ, at 6 there will be plenty of talent to draft in positions of need for this team.

I would be surprised to see a team trade up to 6 only to draft a guy they are planning to have sit a whole season... but with the low cost of the QBs they have now it would be a possibility.

I do not think there is anything he could do to be in the good graces of Giants fans after going to the Eagles. It is not like he won us a Superbowl or something to make him overall loved by Giants fans. I would not expect to see many 26 jerseys showing up in the Meadowlands next year. If he went somewhere benign like the Patriots, he would still be a popular Giant for life.

I cannot say I watched LSU games this year, but the one thing that Harrison has is he is 6'4". Not that automatically makes someone a better receiver, but as they say you can't teach size. I do wonder if if his name was not Harrison if he would be tagged as the can't miss WR in this draft. With how the Free Agency is going so far, I could line up behind the drafting Nabers with the 6th pick.
