Hitting on a QB in the first round is like you said a crap shoot, and having the 6th pick and potentially having 5 QBs off the board at the time you are effectively turning your 6th pick into a second or third round pick.

VG I can't follow this logic at all. You can get a real player, a real impact player with the 6th pick in the draft instead of the 5th QB to come off the board. You are much less likely to land a coveted player come round 3, is it that big of a loss to pick a back-up QB with potential upside as opposed to drafting a 6th DB or lineman?

There are so many pitchers on the DL with back strains and elbows... makes you wonder if the pitch clock has something to do with it. I am sure throwing 98mph sliders does not help either

I am not sure if that would be called a hip drop tackle as they are trying to stop, but it does look like the player is unweighting himself so I guess they throw a flag on it? There is so much confusion as to what the hip drop actually is

I would rather enjoy a couple of Sundays with wins, than bank on the crap shoot that is the draft and how it pans out in 5 years. Fair chance that Williams and Maye are in the same boat as Kyler Murry, Daniel Jones, and Dwayne Haskins (Might be a bit extreme) are this year.

A win against the Braves... not only a win, but one that had 2 comebacks and holding them off in the late innings. That was one the Mets needed... now to get at least one more win before leaving Atlanta

I would not complain if they draft the opposite book end to Thomas and solidifies the line for the next 8-10 years

Have 6 Qb's been successful out of one draft?

I have seen some people on Twitter suggesting the Giants trying to make a trade with the Bills for Josh Allen.. maybe for our 1st round pick.

True, but betting the next 5 seasons on a guy who has not been able to stay healthy through highschool and college seems a poor decision. Maybe it makes sense in the second round, but that still feels very close to a wasted pick to me. Just to argue with myself, there is nothing saying the other QBs in this draft are not one rolled up lineman from a blown out knee and shortened career.

The Mets deserve no love.... I do not understand how the offense can look so inept. They did give us one game in 4 with multiple runs. I try lying to myself, its only 4 out of 162, lots of time to pile up some wins... but there is a sense of dread already for sure

Opening day Rained out... at least they let everyone know. They are playing the game Friday. I used to love to go to opening day, would skip school with my buddies and hop the train out to Shea. I was looking to go this year, cheapest seats were over $100, thats not including tolls, parking, bag of peanuts and a couple beers.

I hope the Giants do not try to trade up for a QB... like you said, it looks like they will have pick of any other position with the 6th pick.
