  1. Bobby Carpenter....nothing against him, a very good player in my estimation...but we are set at SAM, and Carpenter is primarily a SAM
  2. I agree he has not reached his potential...but he is at the very least a solid blocker....
  3. Shianco is far from "shit"...he has drastically improved his blocking...while he isn't exactly dominating he is solid in that area. Though he will likely only be with us one more season he is far from "shit"...
  4. Demeco Ryans. While he doesn't have great timed speed, he plays with good game speed and is more athletic than anyone gives him credit for. His football instincts and smarts might be the best in the whole draft, right up there with D'Qwell Jackson. Could stand to bulk up a little bit, but I feel he could come in to camp and start from day one at WILL If Ryans is gone I would take Simms at 25. Is the prototypical WILL and could also start from day 1
  5. Shockey and Plax's contracts seem to dictate that they will not be "infecting another team" for a good 4 or 5 years.....
  6. Like Pizan said I could see Chad Jackson in Dallas, as well as Kansas City or Philly. And while Holmes is the top WR in the draft, NFL GM's have fallen in love with big athletic recievers, and while his game still needs some coaching, his size and speed combo IMHO will woo some GM into drafting him early. I would not mind seeing him in Blue next year, but i don't see him reaching us, or us selecting him if he does fall to 25
  7. With his size, hands, and now that great 40...he will be no where to be found when we are picking...
  8. Hey, lets be fair...The Texans suck far more than the 49ers
  9. There is certainly a good chance that he starts there next season, but I would not be overly confident with him. We would have to expect some more growing pains for the first half of the season
  10. seems like that is a lot easier said than done for them...
  11. As long as Strahan is playing we will not switch to a 3-4. Strahan, while a great pass rusher, would not fit as either a 3-4 DE or a 3-4 OLB...To switch would eliminate possibly our best defensive player from the game. Maybe in the future we will change but not anytime soon
  12. If James leaves I can still see the colts winning that division and still having a prolific offense. Don't forget, they have Dominic Rhodes behind James, and Rhodes rushed for 1000 yards when James went down with is knee injury. Whille James leaving would deal them a blow, the damage might not be as bad as one would think if Rhodes can return to the form of three or four years ago...
  13. Well, when all six of your wives are on the rag at the same time...it would tend to get alittle out of control...
  14. I would love to help the recruiting effort on the GMB...but seeing as I was suspended without warning or explanation...I am in no position to help BlueSunday
  15. so...according to your vast football knowledge...it is safe to judge a players ability based solely on their first year, in which they did not even start half the games? Only players with good first years develop into solid players? Better tell Strahan, Osi, and Tiki that...they might disagree
  16. probably Binghamton.....hoping for NYU
  17. well, if Rhonde is available and we don't find a way to get it done, that would show there is something wrong in the front office...If and when Rhonde is released, we have the inside track, and he would most likely come here for less money than it would take him to go elsewhere...
  18. not bad....but now football season is over...I am totally lost, it's 2:00 on a Sunday...what am I doing on my computer? Looking foward to college next year....just gotta get through another four months of High School and im free....
  19. If he can pick up his blocking that he will probably see more of a roll helping to spell Tiki. He will still be the short yardage back, but I see him getting more carries in early down situations to show if he can take over after Tiki calls it quits....
  20. I would really like to see us go after Deshea Townsend or Brian Williams. They are older vets that can hold the fort down while we groom Webster or another rooke to take over for them. At LB, we don't have to go too wild and grab up some over priced veteran. We could look at Keith Adams, Ben Leber, or David Thornton to come in and compete at WILL if we don't want to use a first rounder at that position. The Secondary could also use another saftey, but we could find a good saftey in the draft, or bring in a cheap vet(maybe Schulters, Dexter Jackson or Derrick Gibson) to compete with Butler. Hope would be nice, but will probably get overpaid to go somewhere else... We probably won't make that big a killing in free agency this year...maybe 3 or 4 quality players, no reason to go too wild. The Giants don't need to go out and make a splash like last year, just bring in a few solid players and build through the draft...
