  1. Moss will be on this team next season...you simply don't cut a second rounder after two years. With that said, i'm not holding my breath for Moss and don't expect too much out of him come next season, but i would love to be surprised
  2. I feel bad for this guy. He has great talent and showed in the few games he played that he can be a playmaker...it is a damn shame he can't stay healthy...best of luck to him in Houston
  3. im not too confident in Couch...I would actually rather have Hasselbeck as backup over Couch
  4. the guy has motivation problems...so it is unlikely that TC would bring him in...
  5. It's not the slump...it's last years playoffs and this year...He NEVER comes up big when we need him. I cringed last night when I saw A-rod stepping to the plate in the 8th inning...Men on first and second, 1 out, down by one run against our cross town rivals in their house......and he grounds into an inning ending double play. He is a great player....in garbage time or early in the game. But when crunch time comes around he can't get it done...
  6. I mean...lets face it...he could probably fetch us a good pitcher in the open market...and I'm sure we can find another third baseman to commit one error a game and not come up big in key spots...
  7. did floyd actually make a post of some value? WHAAAA?!
  8. What reason do we have for clapping for Peyton? cause he is Eli's brother? Are we gonna clap for Ronde when he comes to town?
  9. oft injured tackle on downside of his career, rookie with a fake "gat", second year late round pick, unknown, beached whale, "honey cakes"(or whatever his gay ass nickname is), practice squad center, another unknown, yet another unknown, Strahan's personnal turn style and another "who?" What offensive line depth you have!
  10. ...I don't know...If Jamaar is able to handle one of your cruise missle-like throws I don't think there will be much of a competition....
  11. I see us taking 6 wideouts into the season. With Morton on the roster Ponder is expendable, and if Taylor stays healthy through the preseason and training camp he will make this team
  12. He missed the last game against Oakland last season. It was insignificant and he was resting for the playoffs. You better believe if our playoff hopes were on the line he would of played.
  13. ....aren't you the one bitching about how EA reached on Kiwi? Just stop it now...your not a Giant fan...everyone knows it...go back to your hole...
  14. well wake the fuck up and smell the roses....the times they are a changin'
  15. I really feel that Cofield is going to be a starter come week 1. He has the size and strength to be a solid NT, but has the speed and burst to be so much more than simply someone to occupy blockers. A DL of Strahan-Joseph-Cofield-Osi would be fine by me
  16. Reggie played SAM ever since he was drafted...Green was the WILL going into camp last year, he got hurt and we had no one to play WILL...so we moved Emmons to WILL and Torbor started at SAM...never has Torbor played WILL... Maybe you should know what you are talking about before you post....
  17. ...no...he cannot....He has never played the weakside...not in college and not in the pros...And as a rookie his playing time was at SAM and then DE towards the end of the season...
  18. Torbor is a SAM....and only a SAM If Emmons goes it is becasue Short or Wilkerson Impressed enough to start...not Torbor
  19. You know I recall two other times we simply took the best player and athlete available, even though we were loaded at their particular positions..... Those picks turned into LT and Carl Banks......lets have some faith boys
  20. If Jacobs can prove in training camp and preseason that he is ready to contribute in regular situations I see no reason that they can't give him more significant playing time. Now, if he comes to camp and shows us that he does not have solid grasp of the game or scheme than Tiki will have to shoulder the entire load again, and rightfully so...but I don't see that happening. He impressed in preseason last year, certainly has the talent and will have two training camps under his belt come preseason. If he proves to be a solid player than we are almost obliged to take some of the load off Tiki. Maybe a few plays a quarter. Anything we can do to keep Tiki fresh towards the end of the game while not hurting the team should be done.
  21. Is there no pleasing you? you repetative, idiotic twit
  22. I don't think that a learning disability is all that terrible for a running back. The most confusing thing he has to learn is blitz pickup. He will be far more solid on that after a season under his belt and another training camp. Not to mention the lineman and quarterback often point out where the blitz is going to be coming from. Learning disability would be a problem for positions like Center, Quarterback, Middle linebacker...positions that require an understanding of pressure and schemes. A running back often simply relies on their talent to carry them....and Jacobs has PLENTY of talent.
  23. We would be fine going into the season with Joseph, Robbins, Cofield, Duckett, Seawright as our DT's. Seawright, Cofield and Duckett wouldnt have to make eye popping plays. Their job as NTs is to simply clog everything up. Duckett can do that, from what i'm hearing Cofield certainly can, and Seawright has the size and strength. Our line will be just fine heading into next season...if you wanna be concerned about something, than be concerned about the secondary
