  1. no....he is an amazing athlete, former probowler, massive headcase and a few sandwiches short of a picnic...
  2. I got a question for you..... Why the fuck would you want an unmotivated, dumb as a brick slacker on our team?
  3. you gotta be fucking kidding me....they walked away from the fucking table...can we just get on with it..
  4. He is VASTLY OVERRATED because he gets all the attention simply for his highlight reel hits. Roy Williams is blown up by the media to be this game changing, revolutionary saftey...when all he is, is a hard hitting saftey. There are MANY hard hitting safties in this league that can lay the lumber of a wideout. Hell, there are three safties in the NFC east alone that hit just as well as Williams(Dawkins, Lewis, Taylor). If not for the insane hype he recieved before the draft, and his draft position, he would be just another SS who looks for the hit before the ball. The man gets burned up and down the football field, and just because he comes up and hammers a running back I am supposed to see him as some great football player? He is a good saftey, but deserves no where near the hype and attention he receives.
  5. More talented...no. He is an amazing athlete for his size and certainly has the talent to dominate. But motivation is his problem, and while there are not many DT's that are as talented, there are certainly many with a better motor. And i'll take a less talented, high energy defensive lineman, over a massivly talented yet unmotivated player any day of the week.
  6. would be a good pickup if we get him for a reasonable price and would instantly upgrade our secondary...
  7. No, the players have been getting screwed over for years. The greedy ass owners need to stop lining their pockets and give in alittle to the players union. Without the players, these owners wouldn't be shit....it isn't the other way around...
  8. more than likely...than these fucktards will probably lock out the players the season after that....
  9. Fucking pathetic....The NFL has built itself into the biggest league in America and worth billions, and now they are going to throw it away over a couple million dollars...the greed of these big wigs is pathetic. The players have been getting screwed for years, they deserve better, and the owners should buck up and get a deal done.

    Eli

Yeah, he only led the NFC in touchdown passes. If your gonna post...atleast contribute something...
  11. I think questions about his work ethic and the fact that he did not dominate his senior year as many expected have had drastic effects on his stock. If we could get this guy in the third round it would be an absolute steal. He has the physical tools to dominate, just needs a fire lit under his ass.
  12. What the hell are you talking about? Joseph is the only member of the rotation to miss significant time last year.
  13. I'm real surprised Ponder and Frankie Walker were tendered offers. I was almost sure they were both as good as gone
  14. Good job resigning him. I think he is a far better player than anyone gives the kid credit for.
  15. Don't forget that Allen is also a FA, so there is no gurantee he will be back next season. I see us bringing someone new in, whether through FA or the draft, even if only for some decent competition
  16. no....if the cowboys signed mIlloy they would have an overrated, aging player who couldnt hold Roy Williams jock....and lets not forgot that Roy Williams is VASTLY overrated...
  17. damn...forgot he even got cut...gonna add him
  18. Who do you sign to take his place in the starting DT rotation and why? Brenson "chap-stick prick" Buckner Sam Adams....always a good decision Ted "big mutha truckin" Washington La Roi Glover
  19. No one is debating that he is athletic enough to do well in coverage...But being athletic enough and actually being able to cover are two different things. But I only saw him play once, so it is not really enough to form a good opinion of the player, so he may be far better in coverage than I am giving him credit for.
  20. If we were to go OLB in the first round I feel we would be better off drafting one of the many talented college LB's, rather than taking a chance on a DE/OLB tweener. If we grabbed D'Qwell or SImms or Ryans we would get a player who we have a good idea of where they will eventually fit in the defense. Also, while Lawson's combine numbers may be stunning, there are quite a few LB's in the draft that may not be better athletes but are better players, rather than just a great prospect. Not to mention that our weakness is at WLB, and while he obviously has the pass rushing skills to play that position, can he play well in coverage? Will he be able to read plays well enough from the LB position? He has a few questions around him, but so does every other LB in the draft. But if Lawson was our first round pick in this years draft, you wouldn't be hearing any complaints from me.
  21. The guy is certainly an intriuging prospect...but I feel we are a few pieces on defese away from making a seriuos run at the super bowl, and there are a few players that would offer more of an immediate impact. Lawson would likely be more of a project, seeing as he would have to learn a new position as well as adjust to the NFL. But, if he were there in the second round, and we had not taken care of LB yet, than that is almost a no brainer
  22. But, in my opinion, there is only one saftey in this draft worth that pick. Michael Huff out of Texas, but he will likely be gone far before we pick. But if he is there i would love to see him get picked up by the G-men. If Bing was there in the second, and we did not take care of saftey in free agency, than I feel he would be worth that pick. But i feel there are quite a few more CB's worthy of a first round pick, but there is only one saftey worthy of that pick, and he will almost certainly be gone. Still would prefer Ryans/Simms/D'Qwell in the first round
  23. I would certainly take a look at him, but he does have problems in coverage at times. But he is great in run support and can really lay the wood. Reminds me a lot of Roy Williams and may turn into a pretty good player. But, with that said, I would rather us look at LB, CB and even WR ahead of saftey. A good saftey can be had around the 3rd or 4th round or for pretty cheap in free agency. I would prefer that our first rounder address our need at WILL, rather than taking a beefed up saftey who can struggle in coverage.
