the OLB position in the 3-4 defense is one that rookies seem to be able to step right into and play well in from day 1. This kids ability and upside was too good to pass up for a team sorely lacking an outside pass rush

Ngata was the second player on my draft board behind Lawson. But the Browns atleast signed Ted Washington so they have someone to hold down the fort at NT for a season. A good pass rushing OLB for their 3-4 was Cleveland's biggest need.

Right now, i see Blackburn as a decent backup at middle backer. Certainly not what I would consider starting calibur...and he may never be...but he could develop into a very valuable backup. His special teams play is enough to keep him on the roster, and his energy and enthusiasm brings a lot to the team. Certainly would like him to stick around for a few seasons...reminds me a lot of Greisen....not the best athlete, but great intensity and energy...good find by us...

Take a look at Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin....Neither ran blazing fast 40 times....hell, Bolden fell out of the first round because of it, and now they make up arguably the most dangerous recieving tandem in football. Or Jeff Hatch....how many bench press reps did he get? 33 or 35? Because of this his stock rose, we pick him, and he amounted to nothing. What you see on tape is a whole lot more valuable than what you see on a stop-watch

I really don't care that he is old. The fact is that he is still clutch and can still make the big third down catch. He certainly wouldnt hurt the team if he was brought in

I would love Ricky Proehl to be a Giant. He is a class act, and as clutch as they come on third down. Ricky would add a lot to our offense, if only for one season

The reason that people want him is because they feel he is just gonna be another Randle El. The difference being that El has the speed, quickness and explosiveness to be a valuable reciever in the NFL. Robinson would be an average AT BEST athlete at WR and would likely not amount to much....not to mention he is demanding he play QB

....right now the 7 offensive lineman going into next season that are for sure are....Diehl, Snee, Seubert at Guard...O'hara at center...Luke, KM and Whitfield at tackle...The way I see it...we should have 4 guards(2 starters, 2 backups), 4 tackles(2 starters, 2backups), and two centers(starter, backup). We still have room for a backup at guard, tackle and center. Because of the versatility of some of our lineman, we may only have room for two more reserves. Either way, there is room for a late round tackle to make the team along with ATLEAST one other lineman. And where is there a rule that says a late round tackle can't eventually mature into a good player and future starter? Worst case scenario is he doesn't work out and we cut him next season... The reason I took Brandon Johnson in the 6th was that the ranking i was looking at led me to believe he would be there in the sixth round, and he would be a great value pick at that point.
