Absolutely, I'll agree with that. I wonder if he thought "everyone knows we're a run team, their D is gonna prep for that" and uses a pass play. The you gotta figure "shit, they were prepped for a pass play, they'll never suspect another" and tries it again. And again. Hell, makes sense to me they wouldn't be ready for 3 pass plays on 1st and 5, but what do I know. I keep dumping $100 dollar bills in slot machines figuring they'll payoff.....eventually.

I'm not a huge X's and O's type of guy, so I may be out of my league here. Everyone is pinning the loss on Gilbride. Now, I'm not smart enough to know enough to ride his jock, so hear me out. What do you think would happen if Gil called the 'bad plays', but they got executed the way he planned? Do you think we would be in a better position to win? There are alot of factors in a game, execution being the most important i would say. Plus, how can he plan for the defence's plan to counter his plan? So what if we're a run team and we pass. If we execute, we should be able to move the ball.....no? Look, I know this isn't a popular discussion, but seriously, how can anyone blame a dude on the sideline for his plays not working? Fucking Eagles.

I don't know, I'm a bit worried. The Giants don't typically react well to adversity, and this off season could be dicy. I know everyone is on the 'Kill Gill' train right now, but...... He could go head coach somewhere, as well as Spags. A new coaching staff breaks up cohesion. Add to that the free agents we will lose, and....well, I just don't know. The Gmen we saw today are not the Gmen from last season's run, I hope you're right though. Next year, next year.

Repeating is extremely difficult, I can handle that. I could even handle a 'one and done' loss to anyone other than Dallas or the Eagles. Hell, I could've handled a 'one and done' to the Eagles if it wasn't an ass whooping. Sure it was a great season to watch. Sure, we got the #1 seed and didn't stink up the season following a superbowl win. I don't think I've said this all season, so here goes: We're doomed I tell ya.....DOOMED! (I've also resurrected the cut-up, beat up T-shirt I was wearing during the playoffs last year and if when we win, I won't wash it until the season is done for us, just like last year. Although, I will forego the wearing of the same unwashed socks and underwear throughout the playoffs this year.)

All I know is, if the Giants have to lose a game from this point on, I'd rather it was in the playoffs. If you lose the Superbowl you aren't the 2nd best team in the NFL, you're the loser of the NFL. That said, Giants defeat Titans 34-21 in Superbowl XLIII.
