I guess what I was trying to say was:
The plus for Carr: If he had to come in and play, at least it would be behind a decent Oline, instead of a shitty Oline where he'd get beat to crap.
The plus for the Giants: They have a backup QB who, behind a decent line, is capable of at least managing, if not winning, a game.
Win-win.
I see your point though, if Carr is indeed shell shocked, why would we want him to backup Eli. There was another thread on Carr and a few other signings/droppings where he said how happy he was to work with the defense, and how the coaches were happy with the work he was doing. I guess if I had to cop out, $2 mil would probably heal my ego.
