This season has screwed up the path to get Arch Manning in '25. I figured on a few years of suckage, giving us a few years of top 10 draft picks, but that's not going to happen. At least not in the '23 draft. Unfortunately picking in the mid 20's assumes you're a relatively good team and don't need a lot of help. Nothing could be further from the truth about the Giants. They need a of lot help, they just happened to have outplayed their roster talent this year. They never really beat anyone any good until the playoff game, and were 1-4-1 in the division. This is not a "one player away from being a contender" team. I'm hoping they come to some reasonable 2-3 year contract with Jones, tag Barkley, save some cap space for the future, and pick up some draft picks along the way. Of course, this is assuming Daboll doesn't become McAdoo pt. duex, and Jones has really turned himself around and wasn't just playing for his future somewhere else.

Giants played better than the Cowboys this week and that's what this week's rankings are based on.

The Giants play lights out, nearly perfect football and get ranked at 7, 4 spots up from last week. The Cowboys miss 4 extra points against a Brady lead team that looked like it was ready to drink beer and watch the playoffs, and gets ranked at 6 (no change from last week). I know these things are bullshit, but seriously, the Cowboy ball licking is just sickening.

Even better. The look on Jerruh's face when we knock them out will be worth it.

I hate those fucking Eagles. When we beat them we host the game following that, right? So if Dallas beats the Bucs, we'll get Dallas at home? Nothing could be finer. Knock off 2 divisional rivals for a trip to the Superbowl. H o l y s h i t!

I've always said that's because the loser of the Superbowl isn't the 2nd best team in the NFL, they're the loser of the NFL.

If they beat Minny, hope survives for the big dance. I don't think they get past Philthy or the 9'ers if they do beat Minny, but defense wins championships so if that holds true we do stand a chance. Granted, we beat some really shitty teams to get here, but holy cow, after all the years of mediocrity it's finally good to be in the hunt again.

Yeah, fuck 'em both. Hard for me, the old lady is from Texas and a Cowboys fan. She roots for the Giants at times though, so it softens the blow. Thanksgiving, this last one in particular, is a total nightmare for me. She's got 4 siblings in town, plus their kids and their kids and before you know it, it's like 28 to 1. Can't stand Thanksgiving anymore.
