  1. Then you should move out here. No state taxes, no city taxes, none of that shit from back east. Plus, it's 120 degrees in the summer, you'll never know the difference when you move to Yemen.
  2. I want someone else who will do this:
  3. I hope to God this kid turns out to be the next big personality on this team and give us some fucking Giants pride back.
  4. I have to be honest, and this is easy to say because I'm not a top notch athlete...if I got $11 million to not play, I'd just be done. At his age, I'd take the money, invest most of it so it kept making me money, keep some of it in a bank account to pay bills with, and keep the rest in a suitcase under my bed for partying and general bullshit. I'd buy a house outright and a car, maybe two. I'd get my mom a house with a casita or two for my siblings to live in, and buy her a car to get around in. Fuck risking getting injured chasing a football.
  5. Kansas City just got a bargain.
  6. It's his first draft. He got the ones right he should have and probably 1 or 2 more. I'll be more concerned if he screws up next year's draft when we have all that cap space to work with.
  7. Adam Schein NFL.com Contributing Columnist 2) New era for the New York Football Giants The Dave Gettleman era (error) is in the rearview mirror -- and it's quickly disappearing from sight, at least judging by Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll's initial first-round haul. The Giants haven't had a legit dude on defense -- someone the opposition fears -- in years. Enter Kayvon Thibodeaux, who came off the board as the No. 5 overall pick on Thursday. All that talk about his personality being a negative? Hogwash. I interviewed him last week on my SiriusXM Radio show, "Schein on Sports," and came away beyond impressed. That's one intelligent, interesting 21-year-old! Giants fans will love his attitude -- and most especially, his game-day domination. This cat's explosive off the edge. And Big Blue didn't just get a top-tier QB hunter in Round 1, but an elite QB protector, as well. Landing Thibodeaux and hulking OT Evan Neal? It was like a dream. The G-Men haven't won a playoff game since Eli Manning last hoisted the Lombardi Trophy. Over the past five years, they're tied with the Jets for the worst record in the NFL (22-59). With that stuff in mind, it's not hyperbole to say Thursday was the best day for the franchise in the past decade. I am so happy for longtime Giants fans. 8. Caught a few innings of Sunday Night Baseball Mets vs. Phillies and I gotta admit, the Mets look good.

  10. Draft class of 2022: Round 1·Pick 5 (5) Kayvon Thibodeaux EDGE Oregon Thibodeaux is a boom-or-bust blue-chip player with impressive physical tools and an unstoppable speed-rush maneuver. The Oregon product displays exceptional balance and body control turning the corner. With outstanding instincts and snap-count anticipation enhancing his speed rush attempts, the electric pass rusher could blossom into a destructive force as a pro. Round 1·Pick 7 (7) Evan Neal OT Alabama CHI>NYG Neal is a super-sized edge blocker with natural skills as a left tackle. The 6-7, 337-pounder is a patient technician with the length to stymie pass rushers off the edge and the power to blow defenders off the ball. The Alabama standout is a powerful run-blocker, but not quite as nasty as some of his counterparts in this class. Round 2·Pick 11 (43) Wan'Dale Robinson WR Kentucky ATL>NYG Neal is a super-sized edge blocker with natural skills as a left tackle. The 6-7, 337-pounder is a patient technician with the length to stymie pass rushers off the edge and the power to blow defenders off the ball. The Alabama standout is a powerful run-blocker, but not quite as nasty as some of his counterparts in this class. Round 3·Pick 17 (81) Cordale Flott CB LSU MIA>NYG As a catch-and-run specialist with outstanding stop-start quickness and burst, Robinson is a natural slot receiver/WR3/returner. Round 4·Pick 7 (112) Daniel Bellinger TE San Diego State CHI>NYG Bellinger has NFL-starter ability, offering reliable ball skills and a proven pedigree in the run game at SDSU. The Giants don't have a tight end on the roster who is expected to run away with the starting job, so consider this a need that has been addressed. Round 4·Pick 9 (114) Dane Belton SAF Iowa ATL>NYG Belton's college production is impressive and he offers the versatility to cover in the slot or in the deep half. While he doesn't have extensive special teams experience, that is likely where he'll need to impress to see the field early on. Round 5·Pick 3 (146) Micah McFadden LB Indiana NYJ>NYG The Giants were one of the worst defenses against the run last year and had a need at linebacker coming into the draft. They waited longer than expected to address that need, but McFadden can come in and instantly help out on obvious run downs as well as on special teams. Round 5·Pick 4 (147) DJ Davidson DT Arizona State The Giants, who had the third-lowest run-stuff rate in 2021, according to Next Gen Stats, address their run defense in consecutive picks. Davidson is disruptive and instinctual against the run, which should win coaches over early in camp. Round 5·Pick 30 (173) Marcus McKethan G North Carolina KC>BAL>NYG Giants scouts sure were fans of North Carolina's rugged offensive line group. They selected a behemoth guard in McKethan who gets to compete with his college teammate and Giants' third-round pick Joshua Ezeudu. Round 6·Pick 3 (182) Darrian Beavers LB Cincinnati The Giants dip into the linebacker well again to address a depth need. Beavers should compete with fellow rookie Micah McFadden for inside reps in Don "Wink" Martindale's 3-4 base. Undrafted rookies: RB Jeremiah Hall, Oklahoma CB Darren Evans, LSU CB Tre Swilling, Georgia Tech Hopefully you are the beginning of greatness, the restoration of Giants Pride, and start Joe Schoen's legacy.

  12. I'm wondering how we're going to pay 3-4, never mind 10. Really was hoping we traded some of those picks for '23 picks. Pretty sure if we the people are thinking about money, so was Schoen.
  13. Grade A- New York Giants Day 2 draft picks Kentucky WR Wan'Dale Robinson (No. 43 overall) North Carolina OG Joshua Ezeudu (No. 67 overall) LSU CB Cordale Flott (No. 81 overall) Day 1 grade: A Analysis: General manager Joe Schoen traded down twice in the second round to accumulate mid-round selections. His pick, Robinson, was Kentucky's offense in 2021 by using his change of direction and toughness (despite his slight build). Ezeudu was another solid pick who's able to play inside or outside as he continues to grow into his frame. The Giants used the third-round pick gained in a trade with Miami last year to select the lean Flott to play in the slot with his agility and toughness. They could use a tight end early on Day 3.
  14. I'd like to defend her end.

  17. What's the QB class look like next year?
  18. Tired of all those years of going "huuh?".
  19. Okay, so ranting about trading the picks away was pointless. Hopefully these guys are around for years. At least we have hope.
  20. A fucking men. Let the rebuild begin.
  21. They didn't pick up Jones' 5th year option, no need to protect him in '22. LOL.
  22. Taking too long, he's trading the pick
