  1. I care. And I want to thank you for your hard work. Tell me -- being a dedicated NFC East fan -- will you root for the Cowboys in the playoffs after they clinch the division?

    Eli Sucks

Actually he didn't exactly torch Dallas. For what ever reason, nobody covered the Wrs that night. Archie could have thrown for 300 yards...And I believe that one of the reasons the Eagles scored so quickly was because Eli threw the ball to Asante Samuel -- an Eagle -- that made the score 14-0 in a blink.
  3. Okay...maybe they could hire him to open the Meadowland doors for field goal and extra point attempts... On the positive side, the playoffs have started early for the Giants. Win this week or stay home.
  4. They're not roadkill if they re-sign that guy that catches the ball with his head and makes your over rated QB look good. If they resign him, all bets are off...
  5. Very true. I rarely have anything negative to say about Giants fans personally. Where have I been? Where have you people been? There are 2 reasons I did not post after the Greenbay game: 1) I stopped by but knobody was here. I don't know what has happened but it seems that the traffic is definetly down this season. I'm guessing you lost one fan to the Arizona bandwagon, but the rest are MIA... 2) The Giants and there overrated inaccurate QB are not going anywhere this season. They will most likely beat a Michael Turneless Atlanta team, they will lose to Denver, and they will lose to an 8-3 Cowboys team -- the nail in the coffin. Really nothing to discuss here.
  6. That's good he kept the marker. Though he probably won't be using it again until next season. Hey Jack -- what is with this place this season? It's like a ghost town. Where did everyone go?
  7. I don't know, Jack. A win against the desperate Packers in Greenbay this weekend is the key, because the next two games are Washington and Oakland at home. They could come into the meadowlands at 9-2. I don't know if your Giants team can handle that kind of pressure. There are already cracks in the armor...A win there and it's basially over.
  8. That on December 6 it is possible that the Dallas Cowboys will eliminate the Giants chances of winning the NFC East, and possibly eliminate them from playoff contention... And there will still be 4 weeks left in the season... Imagine that...
  9. Amazing how swiftly the Giants' dynasty has crumbled. I too see 9-7/8-8, home for the holidays...Manning is simply not good enough...
  10. Once again -- I am not the Dog I do not control the Dog My guess is that he responds to me because I am not a Giants fan. Meaning, I have a realistic non-bias approach as opposed to some of you flaming homers... Also, addressing another post, while I've come around after Giant losses this season, I am typically here all the time during football season. I have been busy but, it's your lucky day, as I intend to come by more often. Some of you may still feel its the result of the mounting Giants losses which, trust me, are coming...
  11. In all seriousness, I don't know how long a running back like Bradshaw can be productive with this type of injury. I am not happy about this either, as he is one of my fantasy back ups.
  12. Better but his money where his big mouth is. With Bradshaw having a cracked bone in his foot it looks like your season rests on the Ballerina's shoulders. Philly could get ugly...real ugly.
  13. Giants down 5 Cowboys up 5...its only a matter of time now... tick tock tick tock...

    Exposed

That was a very insightful article...and it didn't even touch on the fact that the Cowboys smoked them for 200 rushing yards and they were only even in that game because Romo was feeling charitable. Those weren't take aways, they were gifts... Now that we all agree that the Giants season is, for all practical purposes, over -- can we talk about who they might draft next year?

Silly...silly...silly...All of this brand new stadium record crowd b.s...as if there were 100,000 fans on the field as Eli threw his passes...the Giant WRs on that night, for the most part, were wide open... Here is the only real difference between Romo and Eli at this stage of the game. Eli makes an ill-advised pass and Tyree catches it between 3 guys with his head. Romo illudes pressure on a 3rd and long and throws a pass on a rope right into Patrick Crayton's hands which Patrick Craton drops, not because of an earth shattering tackle -- he was wide open...the rest is, as they say, history.

Gorilla, you should atleast provide a footnote to whatever reporter you just lifted your "opinion" from...It's the right thing to do...

Jack, you know I'm a big fan of your posts, but the Cowboys have not lost to Oakland -- unless I am misreading something here...Or perhaps you jumped into the future -- to Thanksgiving Day -- and have come back to report. The Cowboys have lost 2 games this season. One to the undefeated Broncos, which looks less and less like a bad loss as the season goes on. And the other to the ordinary Giants, which looks more and more like a bad loss as the season goes on.

I'll answer this one honestly and hope that this thread does not disintegrate into a baseball thread. I switched back and forth during the games last night. I'm an Angels fan and follow their players, but I'm not a passionate baseball fan. I'd rather watch football, so much so that I turned down the opportunity to go to the Yankees/Angels game last night. Also, I'm a realist and the Yankees are the better team and I felt that they would win last night anyway. More importantly, I have Bradshaw and Nicks in one of my fantasy leagues and I played both last night. I cannot watch baseball -- any baseball game -- instead of my fantasy guys...

Slight breeze? I don't know, Dog. That hum that I kept hearing over my TV last night was either a wind whipping through the tunnels of the Meadowlands or the sound of the Giants being booed by their own fans... I assumed it was the wind...Boo birds at the Meadowlands? We haven't heard that since...well....since...since..Dan Reeves...no...sorry... last January when the Eagles were in town!

The formula is simple for Romo. Get Jerry to trade for Tyree. Give up the entire recieving core if you have too...
  22. Eli Manning is ordinary. If not for the famous trapped ball against the no-name receiver's head, the NY media and fans would be labling him a bust this morning. But he can sometime be good at avoiding the pass rush. He can be ellusive at times. Which makes me think that he should be running the ball in short yardage, not the 250 pound ballerina. As comical as Manning was, I nearly fell off the couch laughing when Jacobs got stuffed on the 3rd and 2. How much are they paying him? He is robbing them blind...
  23. You can say that again. They need Felix, no doubt. But the funny thing is that you would not realize the backs are hurt by the numbers...it must be that 200 yard effort against the good Jersey football team...not the Jets...you know...the Scarlett Nights...yea that's it...
  24. Fishgut, it is good to see you again...This place isn't dead afterall! I think the Cowboys truned over a new leaf. They'll be mediocre for 17 weeks, limp into the playoffs, and maybe find someone that catches the ball in their facemask. Following the "blueprint" so to speak...
  25. WOW. That is a little pesimistic. I hope that you are doing well, Nemisis.
