  1. They can be exposed and it's possible the Cowboys will win. I will not be shocked. And I have great respect for Rob Ryan. They may get to Stafford. But, if I'm honest, I don't like the Cowboys defensive backfield. It's their weakness. See blind homers -- I can be realistic with my team... And any team with a great passer or talent WR (like CJ) will give the Cowboys problems. Fortunately for the Cowboys, the Skins have Rex, the Giants have Eli, and Vick is prone to his own meltdowns. So I like their chances in the East.
  2. You see, Jack. Unlike this crazy place, I am realistic. I say Detriot wins. Doesn't mean the season is over by any means. But right now, the way I see it, Detriot is the better team.
  3. Good day Dog: Badegg understands BigBlue's frustrations with his QB. Badegg would take a similar stance if he were a Giants fan. Badegg, however, is perfectly satisified with Romo. The sky is the limit over here.
  4. Jack, are you also Bigblue? Or are you his guardian? Just sayin...
  5. Way to change the subject...but if we're talking about playoffs... They were both home in January, Superfan! And your team didn't miss the playoffs because of a tirebreaker. It was the result of a historical meltdown at home. In your shiny new stadium. That is why you missed the playoffs. And as much as your are enjoying your little victory last Sunday, it still pails in comparision to what Vick did to you last season... Truth hurts. I know. I feel for you, man. I really do.
  6. OMG! You are your own worst enemy! Didn't the Giants win an NFC Championship game by scoring 15 points, without a TD? Yes, BB. Winning the game is all that matters. If it's with only FG so be it. You are priceless. The gift that keeps giving...
  7. That's what you people said last season when Tenneseee embarrassed you at home in week 3 or 4. The season is young...we are injured...Eli will get better... Yup...It sure worked out that way Week 15 and 16. The only thing consistent in Giants land is crying and excuses...
  8. You are amusing, I'll give you that. 1) Yes, the Cowboys defense won the game. They generated turnovers. The offense converted them into points. I'll bet if you asked Tom Brady Jr and TC if they could have won by 6 FG's week 1, they would take it and run. But, by all means, keep your 2 TDS and your loss. Fascinating how Rex "gave us" one, but managed to light-up your vaunted defense. 2) The great Tony R couldn't get a first down. Yup. He was the only man out there. Here are the facts: Tony R took them on 2 long scoring drives in the end of the game and got them the points they needed. That 3rd and 21 conversion was all Tony Romo and Dez Bryant. There was no blocking. But 2 injured players put the team on their back and came up huge -- Just like Eli did week 1 against this same Skins defense...right? 3) What'e even more laughable is your assessment of Garrett, Kitna and the Keystone Cops. Garrett can't coach. Kitna can't play. See exhibit 1: 2010 Cowboys 33 Giants 20. Garrett, in his head coaching debut, schools the Giants with, the one and only, JON KITNA. Of course Brady JR did give them 7, just like he did with the Skins in Week 1. But, over all, it was a sound thrashing in a game they had no business winning. Go figure. Those Keystone coaches... Why did Romo play Monday night? Was the Cowboys training staff being foolish? Romo was the best QB on the field. He is being paid a ton of money to play football. Guys have played hurt before and with broken ribs. He did was he was supposed to do and he did it well. But keep posting, man. I have missed you.
  9. You people are nuts... If Monday night was two pee-wee teams in the "Ludicrous Bowl" what was week one in Washington? I guess you could say that atleast 1 professional team showed up to that one...
  10. Yes, the Cowboys got off the short bus against a very underrated and well-coached Redskins defense and... PUT ON A BETTER OFFENSIVE SHOW THAN THE GIANTS DID! AND WON THE DAMN GAME! But, by all means, keep coming with your "offensive show" comments. I love this place.... LOVE IT!
  11. Ahhh...I get it now, BB. You don't count the first 2 games because they are misleading...Interestingly, the Giants were awful the first two games. So, let's start counting in weeks 3 and 4 when they beat the so-called "Dream Team" with Fat Andy's help and then go on to play the fearsome Cardnals... But how did your "we know what we are in weeks 3 and 4" work out for you the last year...when they choked away the playoffs in weeks 15 and 16... How that work out for you?
  12. Well, at least we can agree on one thing: Eli's backup receivers make him look better than he is. The Giants should be thankful for that. Yes, Garrett was conservative. And smart. But the Cowboys were lucky to escape with a win. That much I can admit. But they were also lucky that their injured QB was smart enough, and accurate enough, to get the ball over the hands of the Redskins D-Line. Because if you don't... Well, Jack. You know how that turns out.
  13. Worked hard for those TD's. Just watched them on youtube. And when I saw Eli's stat line I actually thought he turned a corner... My bad...
  14. Eli, or should I say Brady Jr., is in way over his head this year. This will become painfully obvious. Beginning this week.
  15. I don't know, Jack. Your dancing elephants have left something to be desired the last 2 weeks.
  16. I agree Nas. But I just don't see it this week. If Manningham were healthy it would help. But honestly, who do the Eagles have to worry about besides Nicks and Bradshaw? The defense keeps them in for a half, they get tired, and then it gets ugly. They don't have the depth to chase Vick, McCoy, and Desean all over the field for 4 quarters.
  17. How can the Giants possible hope to keep pace with the Eagles in this game? Especially given their injuries. All homer bias aside, and leaving the Cowboys completely out of this discussion, they are probably going to need 34 points and they may not score 34 points against the Eagles in the 2 games they play them combined.
  18. Hmmmm...to use another Cowboy as an example...Emmit Smith...won 3 Superbowls and the NFL's leading rusher. I would argue that what defined him as a RB, an athlete, and an NFL player was playing with one arm in a game that had to be won in, of all places -- THE MEADOWLANDS
  19. DId you see me argue that Romo "bested" Smith? And the sentence "Romo brilliantly screwed most of his opportunities up" is an exaggeration just like the sentence "Eli is a top 10 QB." I would say that Romo is, at times, his own worst enemy while Eli is a servicable QB. On another note, I have missed you bigblue.
  20. Even worse, Dog. They did it to Spagnola. Here is the architect of perhaps one of the best defenses ever on a Superbowl team. If not the best. Yet, without him, the best they can do is fake injuries in the 1st quarter against a 500 team to keep them out of the endzone. It's sad. Desperate. Cheap. And embarrassing. This is the big bad NFC East? Man up and play against your old coach.
  21. I love it. Eli "bested" Favre. As if they were the only 2 guys on the field. If memory serves me correctly, it was the Giants defense (a common theme in 07) generating a turnover in OT that won that game. Or, if I'm being cyncial, it was Favre making another poor decision and serving one up on a platter, like he did against in NO as a Viking. Seriously, I don't even think Manning through a TD that game. It's not like it was the second coming of Elway's "the drive." But keep working on the "clumsy" and "slightly above average" theme. You may be onto something...
  22. Poor decisions. Not the only reason they lost. But poor decisions nonetheless. He still would do a better job quarterbacking your team. What we saw last night...just the beginning for Eli. It must be tough, I feel for you man....
  23. I wish it all went out...just a few hours earlier.
  24. My "act" is only as good as the material that is given to me. If Mr. Franchise QB looked like a franchise QB last night... He was being booed. In the Meadowlands. Week 2. Against the Rams. Think about that...
