  1. Nas, Eli threw 2 int's before Plax had his meltdown. It's his job to make throws his wideouts can catch. If they can't catch it and it's incomplete, it's one thing. But he threw them way off target. Toomer made 5 yards of room on that play and Eli threw it behind him. That's not acceptable.
  2. If Shockey is a Giant next year, I'll be surprised. Between his frustration and this teams coaching, it's a bad mix. There are dozens of coaches out there that would love to have him. Imagine what parcells would do with him. He's not lying. We were out everythinged.
  3. Robbins, yes. But we got nothing from the other side. Even Justin Tuck got some playing time there.
  4. I'm not disputing Tyree's play at all. I think he did a great job. Nas, a lot of our starters were struggling. I mean, if you're going to talk like that why not just take Strahan out and put Kiwanuka in for an extended period of time.
  5. If it was his back, why did he come out suited up for the second half. Shouldn't he have been dressed at that stage. Shockey is playing on a bad ankle for 3 weeks now. Carter has ankle problems also.
  6. What did Eli's 2 int's cost us?. Nothing?
  7. You might bump into Keith Hamilton driving around looking to score. Can you ask him to come back to the team , we need him to suit up again.
  8. So let's not call them stupid for playcalling. The wrong guys are on the field. Wow, thank God Einstein showed up here tonight. Hey einstein, we should blame the guys who pick the team, right? OOPS!!!. Same guys.
  9. Let me point out first of all. I didn't support Plaxico coming here when we signed him. Not trying to get Brownie points, but my previous posts show this. I've also said lavar shouldn't have been signed and we shouldn't have drafted ELi. Plaxico is surly, he is a malcontent. pittsburgh were glad to get rid of him. He's not lived up to the hype coming out out of college. It was based on the amount of money we threw his way to get him here. That said, he has talent, he's 6ft 5 and did upgrade our wide receiver slots. He's made some fantastic catches since he got here. He's even blocked down on run plays. When Eli threw the ball out of reach, Burress often adjusted his body to make the catch and keep those Eli stat counters happy. I'm aware he didn't play well today, I'm aware he fumbled last week also. But someone is going to have to explain to me, what reason we benched his ass today. I mean what did he do that wasn't going on all around him. I didn't see any of the defense getting benched, I didn't see Eli getting benched for throwing so badly in the first few possessions. Both interceptions were the results of bad throws. I didn't hear that Tim Lewis get benched for calling sucha shitty game once again. The offensive line jumped 4 times early on, yet no-one got benched. He didn't play well, but I'm still trying to figure out what he did that was SOOO much worse than everyone else on the team. Does he lack discipline?. Yes!. but the Giants knew this, so did Tom, that's right. Tom the disciplinarian! Tom, the coach of the team that's top five in penalties! Thank Goodness he cracked down on the dreaded Plaxico today. That'll rectify everything!! Wow!. There's some shitty coaching going on with this team!
  10. The quarterback can still throw the ball even with pressure from the def line. I'm not sure what people consider good play on this board. a defensive line can't sack the quarterback all day and can't stop the run all day, so somebody has to tackle after them. If Emmons is dropping back in coverage and tackling tight ends crossing over the middle, then he's doing his job. The eagles sacked us 8 times last Sunday, and shawn barber had eight tackles at linebacker. The defensive line playing well is not a good barometer to judge tackling in other areas. Does anybody remember San diego last year?
  11. Tell that to last years Kansas City Chiefs, who couldn't tackle regardless of field position.
  12. As much as I have no problem with Emmons playing well, I think that if the Giants had a choice between starting a vet who's been underperforming, as opposed to a young player who is playing well and on the way up, that Coughlin will start the vet every time. I think the Giants feel that they have to play the guy that they are paying big bucks to first. Reggie Torbor improved last year and did well when we had all the injuries and Emmons didn't play all that good when he was healthy, so I thought that going into this year that Torbor would start and I'm not sure why he isn't. I think the same for Sam madison, as bad as he's played so far, and I was so happy when they got him, but I think he'll start every game this season for the reason I noted above. Some other teams will not do this. If Emmons plays at this level all season, then we lucked out so God Bless him.
  13. DIDN'T DRAFT REGGIE BUSH! DFNG 'S FAVORITE PLAYER!
  14. The answer is no!. Now what Sherlock?
  15. Hopefully Nas will be in the stadium also so it'll happen to him also. That will prevent him from now coming back on here!
  16. i think there's a secret code in this message which says " I support Al Queda". nas you bastard.
  17. Totally agree. He way pushed towards the sideline, slowed down and then launched himself into a Giants coach. He should be fined for that big time.
  18. I agree that Coughlin shouldn't take over the play calling from Lewis, because honestly it might get worse. Fassel took over from Payton because the offense had gotten too predictable. Payton's offense consisted of guys constantly in motion before the snap to confuse the defense, but he got found out the 2nd year that once the players actually stopped moving they played the same routes all the time. Teams caught onto this and when Fassel took over, it actually got better.
  19. You should have given him a big kiss.
  20. What did Reggie Torbor do to piss off the coaches?
  21. It's questionable if Tim Lewis can do better than this. This defense hasn't changed since he joined. No blitzing on this team, it tires out the linebackers.
  22. Frank Walker!!. Christ why don't we just play Jimmy Walker! Jakk, isn't it time to stop being a clown?
