I agree, we have David Carr and the Hefty Lefty so I think we are set at QB. We need to address the lack of LB depth just in case Strahan retires maybe we can move Kiwi back to DE if we have decent depth at LB.

Dan Connor will be average at best in the NFL so I wasn't destroyed that we passed him up.

Toomer will take his fellow Wolverine under his wing and guide this kid straight. This was a great pick for the Giants now we must address the lack of LB depth.

Eli Manning is a QB that looks towards hi WR's to bail him out of trouble so trading Shockey wouldn't be the end of the world guys. Boss is a lower toned player that will accept his role as a blocker and protect Eli even more, and he is thrilled to get the passes that are thrown his way and doesn't complain and the ball goes elsewhere like Shockey does.

Sometimes the best player on the board doesn't fit your system, so looking elsewhere isn't so bad but I agree being stuck with Osi was just horrible!

Last I remember Parcells was never a huge fan of QB's so this move does not shock me.

Eli Manning just like every QB had to learn the quickness of the game, these are the best around and he has done extremely well and I'm proud that he demanded to be a New York Giant!

Actually we didn't draft Eli Manning, the Chargers did. Eli wanted to play for the Giants and that alone means plenty and now add on the fact that he won a Super Bowl means he will be in the same category as Joe Namath and Phil Simms for now in New York.

I would be thrilled with him as our first round selection.

I was thrilled to see the Mets trade for Santana but I hated the fact that they signed Castillo, he is a slap style hitter and should be batting 8th in the order if anything!
