Hey martyr, hey he had to have a few decent picks. O'Hara and McKenzie were solid - McQuarters is OK but the defensive backfield was helpless most of the season. LBs - they were either hurt or non existent for much of the season. I love my Giants and many of you know I have been a fan over 50 years but c'mon. Accorsi was a mediocre GM IMMHO. The jury much as I hare to say it is still out on Eli. I hope this is the year he turns it around with consistent solid performances. We've seen flashes but only flashes.

Boohyah! How the hell RU? Interesting fight coming up with Oscar and Floyd. I see Sugat=r Shane looked great against Colazzo. Is Oscar going to be bigger and stronger at the weight than Merriweather? He is faster than Oscar so Oscar will definitely need to hurt him to slow him down. At least Oscar will be the bigger guy.

I love Leonard a true team player with no downside other than perhaps flat out speed. But he is a tremendous blocker as well as an outstanding receiver and he CAN run the ball. I am not sure if he goes late 1st or early 2nd round however.

Must have their eye on a draft choice because Pettipuke is going to prolly be the best out there at FA.

Thanks I was unaware of that. I agree though that Accorsi's record is mediocre at best especially considering our recent picks in both FA and the draft.

OK up until the first half of this year Pettipuke was an underachiever and how many times was he offsides? He was the worst. I am ahuge ND fan and hoped for great things from him but all i saw were holdings, offsides etc etc. And he was often injured. Will one of you fill me in on who The Fab 4 are, were? Thanks guys.

I ahve always loved Tiki the player, but I am quicly losing respect for Tiki the man. He did have his best years under Coughlin who taught him not to fumble the ball. Look up the stats. Sorry Tiki, but I hope you do a better job on TV than making out that your retirement was hastened by Coughlin.

I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Tiki. But I agree with several of you that Tiki really had his best years under Coughlin. And if he was the anonymous leaker of info than I move him off my all time list. That kind of shyt pisses me off. At least have the balls to stand up and say it rather than go underground. That sux.

It was interesting Plow, and Fordham won that game. Interesting how we were chosen to finish 7th or 8th in the A10 and this Sat we will be playing Rhode Island who was picked to finish 11th for 1st Place. I hope it lasts. Our big fellow Dunston has not performed as well as last year - he may have been thinking about turning pro next year. Not anymore.

My idea is to use some of the lesser Bowls that no one cares about except the alumni from the 2 schools and set up an 8 team playoff. If that isn't possible at least a plus 1 game so Boise State could have played FL.

Of course right after I wrote that I was like so who should have gotten the extra game agains FL? USC? LSU? Or my favorite Boise State? The Big 10 was shown to be a weak conference. The SEC and the Big East (5-0) proved to be better than publicized. Boise State probably played the greatest game ever in college football. Notre Dame who I love was a mediocre team that had a few great players. So who do you say?

Unfortunately Carroll had a lousy experience in the NFL. Holtz had a lousy experience as did Spurrier. I'm not sure what makes a great NFL Coach different from a great college coach but there must be significant differences or those 3 all would have been great NFL coaches. I do believe there are several assistants who are more than ready to be head coaches also the Falcons took Petrino, I'd give the guy from Boise State a shot. Was there a better college game than that all year if not all time? It also demonstrates why we should have a playoff what with the Big 10 being shown up to be a weak conference and LSU and USC playing like #1's.

I would have gone after the coach from Boise State or any number of highly successful college coaches. Perhaps they look at Holtz and Pete Carroll as successful college guys who didn't make the transition. But bringing Coughlin back is totally unacceptable.

My point is Eli's best days are ahead of him. Initially I was against it and my reason was simple Ben Roethlisberger. I belive we could have traded down and taken Big Ben plus kept all the picks we gave up. Now I have since become a believer that Eli can become a very fine QB, but I don't know about with the coaches we have. Demps is terrible.

Well Wolfe maybe a 2nd round pick at 5'7" and 175 lbs - he is a little small but he can play. I beleive he finished as the leading rusher and often faced 8-9 guys in the box. He also was top overall yardage so he can catch the ball. He is also the only top RB that is a senior. Now that doesn't mean somebody may come out - Adrian Petersen for example, but he also was injured.

I don't know that we have a Deuce and a Bush now do we? Perhaps with Moss now playing we can develop some of those type plays. We'll see.

TBCVP - agreed but what about RB? Who do you like? You have to figure we will be looking at a 1st or 2nd RD pick there.

I hate getting injured people. But he is/was a hell of a player. I am not sure who the top senior RBs are or underclassmen coming out. Rice, McFadden are sophs - what about Mike Hart from Michigan? Nah we have never had any luck with Big 10 backs. Have we? I like Garrett Wolfe who I believe is the leading rusher ypg this year. He is a little small but is just tremendous and very strong. While I love Jacobs I believe we need a change of pace back for him. WR is 2nd on my list with Jeff Samardzjia although he will prolly go top 15. After that we need DBs and maybe FA is where we get one or two with proven ability.

And now we know. No defense and Rheema McKnight is now prolly a 3rd round draft choice at best.

I do believe we win this Sunday and then beat the Boys at home the next weekend. We will be getting many of our people back for the Cowgirls game.

I just had it on and unfortunately they were right. Eli was awful but if and it's a BIG IF, plex makes those 2 catches and Shock doesn't get called for a holding who knows? It was their worst performance of the year and everyone could take a share of this one from the coaches to the players including my fav Tiki.
