  1. i couldn't get over when one of my friends (a red sox fan) after they lost to the rays said, "at least i can take solace in the fact that we just basically lost to our 2010 roster." i later found out this was a reference to bill simmons' article about game 5. some of them really just don't get it do they?
  2. hahaha i didnt make this connection at first, but you're definitely right- they're twins
  3. one of the giants curses has always been the back-up QB curse.. we always seem to get blindsided. hopefully the intensity of cowboys/giants will prevent them from under-estimating the cowpokes O
  4. always gotta give me a heart attack
  5. can we stop this fucking cutesie shit at the GL throw the fucking ball!!!
  6. that just may have been the worst pass coverage i've ever seen on one play by one player before
  7. i was talking in reference to a "dynasty."
  8. did roy williams even play today? the WR i mean
  9. tonight reminded me that they're NOT the yankees
  10. oh and we sucked balls tonight, but think about how much shittier we looked in the vikings game last year? this was a trap game, the browns were playing in a wild atmosphere at home with their season on the line... and they played like it. I'll just chalk this one to a bad game, and it certainly was but i'm not saying our season is over. We weren't as good as we thought we there the first 4 weeks and we're not as bad as we looked tonight, it's a long season and we can be 5-1 if we win next week.
  11. is it bad that the only solace i can take out of this game is the fact that we won the superbowl last year?
  12. we're getting no pressure at all and ross has been consistently torched all night by edwards. i seriously cannot think of one time that we have put pressure on anderson this whole night... wtf is going on?
  13. i hate arsenal too!! but not as much as the red sox i dont think
  14. see I always think this about the NFC but it seems like every year the 2nd wild card ends up with 8 wins
  15. I am worried... but would be more worried if the bengals had a good defense.. this could be one of those trap games where the defense doesn't show up but we put up 41 and it doesn't matter, although i'm inclined to think something like that wouldn't happen with spags.
  16. dockery isn't too bad, he had that one nice play on 3rd down i think on the rams first or second series
  17. i hear man city's team next year will include the likes of buffon, kaka, ronaldo and fabregas (according to reports lol).. o and robbie keane will regret leaving spurs for the rest of his career
  18. they at leas said they set a giants team record, as did osi. iwasat the game
  19. he's been in the top 5 in HR allowed the last few years consistently, did have a few good years, we shall see though never say never
  20. I was at the same point, first time I've ever actually stopped watching a game in the middle.. i eventually turned it back on to see the end but was still even after the W thinking that the season was still going to end in dissapointment. I think that was the most negative I have been ever about the Giants. As for the superbowl, I felt it was almost a karma thing. I was born only about 1 and 1/2 when the Giants beat the Bills in the Superbowl so all my experiences have been relatively negative, the only great thing I can remember is being at the 2000 NFCCG 41-0, but back to my point... I've gone to about 3-4 games every year since I can remember and I have seen A LOT of shitty games. the first bad one i remember was giants/cowboys on MNF i think the giants lost 31-7 (the game where deion had that PR) and i remember just seeing cowboys fans everywhere. I remember being at a MNF game against atlanta during the kent graham days (got killed), the bears SNF game 2 years ago (hester's return) and the philly game 2 years ago, the vikings game this year and the one a few years ago where they got like 3 returns, the carolina playoff game 2 years ago, the 2004 campaign i was at all 3 terrible losses down the stretch (bears, lions, someone else?)... i remember sitting in the stands at ALL those games in the 4th quarter thinking that SOMETIME in my life things would come together, and that SOMETIME there haddd to be a season where the giants wouldn't let me down and everything would work out. i sure as hell didn't think it would be this year especially after the bears game... but I just remember sitting down wathing the SB postgame thinking exactly what i had hoped every since I can remember had actually come true... and i'll never forget that
  21. throw him off the roof of yankee stadium
