  1. I believe that was our highest paid defensive player who we also paid two draft picks for, Leonard Williams
  2. The source on the yahoo link says PFF right away. 13 pressures aren't good no matter who you're paying against. Other teams have good pass rushers and blitz a lot as well. Chicago isn't the only one.
  3. If Jones regresses significantly, I'd consider it. If Jones has a decent season, regardless of record (since the offensive line and defense in general both suck), keep him.
  4. Yeah, DeForest Buckner and Justin Houston are terrible.
  5. Sacks aren't the only way and OT can fail. 13 total pressures. 2nd most in the league. Is that good? Are we supposed to disregard the 12 pressures that weren't sacks?
  6. Here are the PFF scores through week 3: Thomas = 55.5 Becton = 76.9 Wirfs = 73.9 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/andrew-thomas/59701 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/mekhi-becton/59818 https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/tristan-wirfs/64818
  7. Yeah, the figures aren't good for Thomas.
  8. Meanwhile, the Jets 11th overall pick Mekhi Becton has been a stud thus far. His size and athletic ability have been on full display and experts have been raving about his performance, though he did have to leave Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts because of injury. Overall, he’s allowed just one sack and one hurry while his PFF grades are all above average for the season. Moving on to Tampa Bay where Tristan Wirfs is playing at right tackle to protect Tom Brady with the Bucs, the 13th overall selection has also allowed just two pressures (two QB hits) in three games. And finally, Jedrick Wills, who went 10th overall to the Cleveland Browns has allowed two pressures with one sack and one hurry.
  9. He's allowed 13 pressures in 3 weeks, 2nd most in the league after Bobby Hart
  10. Andrew Thomas. Worse OT in the league minus Bobby Hart. https://sports.yahoo.com/giants-ol-andrew-thomas-stats-162435147.html
  11. Through 3 games, the giants OL have given up 9 sacks, and with their RBs have 40 rushes for 72 yards, averaging less than 2 yards per rush. Steelers 16 runs, 7 yards Bears 14 runs, 48 yards (18 of which came on one run from Barkley) 49ers 10 runs, 17 yards
  12. If you believe we're just Nate Solder, DeAndre Baker, and Sam Beal away from being a good team, then you probably believe Trump is a good businessman who pays taxes.
  13. Plus the secondary actually got better by not having Beal.
  14. Still can't say how many years. I appreciate your tacit admission that DG is a disaster.
  15. How many years does DG need to turn this around? He's on year 3 and we're still in "developmental" stage???
  16. Yeah that's what we said three years ago. The team has the same problems now that it did then.
  17. So the players currently on the roster aren't an issue, just the continuity?
  18. Also, yes I agree an entirely different team would be preferable, lol
  19. No, that's another reason DG needs to be fired.
  20. Oh a third or fourth year qb would be better with this same team? Same D and OL? Lol
