"Zeitler, Tate, Solder" Cutting these three alone should save ~$24-25mm in cap space. Other cuts we'll likely need are Pulley ($2.75mm), Levine Toilolo ($3mm), Cody Core ($2mm). Plus if we cut Hernandez, that's ~$2mm. I also think we should cut Engram if we can replace him. That frees up $6mm.

Honestly considering our cap situation and what he will cost ($8-11mm per year), sounds like a better option than Golladay and Robinson who are likely going to command possibly double that. I think he also adds a dimension that Golladay and Robinson cannot. Thoughts?

I honestly wouldn't mind if we drafted Patrick Surtain Jr at #11. He's been solid this season, and did real well last night. Hopefully his long speed checks out but he could be James Bradberry #2 on this team.

I think the Dolphins or Bengals may draft him now at #3 or 4...he's that good. We'd have to give up a lot to trade up to that.

Nice play, and nice goal line stand by the D in general. I love old school, smash mouth football...not like nowadays where there is so much end arounds, shovel passes, read option, etc razzle dazzle stuff at the goal line. I mean granted, sometimes it works, but I like the old school RB, FB dive, and just line up your two sides and kick ass.

Indy put up 472 yards against the Bills. I think their issue was moreso the defense couldn't stop the Bills. Rivers didn't turn the ball over a billion times like Ben. Not saying he's spectacular but he's not the reason they lost.

I did not say dismiss, but you can't count on them as reliable starters. We still need to fill gaps on the OL. If we're relying on only one of five OL slots for development, like in my scenario above, I'd feel much better.

He only underperformed due to Columbo fucking him up. Going forward, at this point, him and Gates are the only starters on this team, and Gates is only average. If you're going into the season hoping THREE of your OL positions make a huge leap in development, you've got a problem. 6-10.

I further think we should cut Engram, for another $6mm. We're then left with a rather big gaps on the OL, and also have to choose among Williams and Tomlinson. I doubt we fix the OL (again) this year. I'm telling you. It's another lost season in 2021. 6-10

By the way, where are we getting the money to sign / re-sign all these PFF free agents? Our 2021 cap is currently estimated at -2mm dollars, LOL.

I gave you the ~$20mm in cap space in 2020 from not signing Cam Fleming ($3.5mm), Kyler Fackrell ($4.6), Cody Core ($2.0), Nate Ebner ($2.0), Levine Toilolo ($3.25), Dion Lewis ($1.5) + from cutting Spencer Pulley ($2.75mm) I then said in 2020, I would have cut Nate Solder, to save an additional $6.5mm in 2020 (+ then saves $14mm in 2021) . That gives you $26.5mm in 2020. More than enough in 2020, and then some For 2021, I said then we cut Zeitler which saves $12mm. $12mm from cutting Zeitler and from Solder the previous season saves you $26mm, more than enough in 2021, and then some. I already gave you the scenario where we could easily have afforded Bulaga and Glasgow both in 2020 and 2021, without increasing the cap in either year.
