  1. Looks like this is the beginning of the end for Mr. Burress... Hope you got a plan Reese.
  2. I actually did know that. But if we are going by each separate number - I was pointing out how he mixed them up.
  3. Chapter 1 January 28th, 1991 - A 5 year old refuses to go to bed, his attention focused on the happenings of Superbowl 25. Tossing a miniature plastic football with his father during commercial breaks, the questions never ended. Dad - Who is the best player on the Giants? You think the Giants can win? Can I please stay up? He got his wish - With eyes glued to the television as Scott Norwood's kick sailed wide right, he was thrilled to learn the Giants had beaten the heavily favored Buffalo Bills to become the champions of the world. Although he was a mere toddler, he recognized the magnitude of the game and so begins the first chapter of his life as a die hard Giants fan. For the next 2 years of his life, football games dominated recess and he was encouraged by 2 different teachers to "write about something besides the Giants sometimes" in his school journals. He wouldn't hear it. The rest of the third grade was greeted by a Rodney Hampton impersonator on Halloween, Dave Brown could brag that he had atleast one fan with his poster in his room, and the youngster could officially brag that Chris Calloway wanted him on the Giants after witnessing him win the pass competition out of his age class at the Radisson Hotel Giants event. The next few years were beyond painful for this loyal Giants fan. Still - He refused to ever miss a game. He rode the ups and downs (mostly downs) as he saw seasons come and go - With the Giants crowning achievement at some points appearing to be their fans snowball throwing abilities. As bad as things got he pushed on and every time his faith wavered he found comfort in minor victories in miserable seasons. When the lowly Giants beat the then undefeated Broncos, he gathered his brother and cousin, battled the bitter cold, and went outside to play some ball - emulating the Amani Toomer game winning catch over and over.... "Our time will come" he thought... It will feel even better than this... A million times better... To be continued....
  4. The scary part about this is if we don't get him I bet the Eagles will... especially with those shiny 2 first round draft picks they have.
  5. The Burnthephilfans wants to know if you treat Donovan the same way. He has shown fairly often that he misses wide open wr's for potentialy big plays (usually throwing short or low to them). Does he get a free pass though because he played better than Eli in the playoff game this year? I'm sure you support him nonetheless though and have some excuse for him. After all he is a non-giant quarterback and we all know you have nothing but pleasantries for any non giant player but only criticisim for Giants personnel.
  6. Yeah that would have been clutch. I think the Osi-Tuck duo has a shot at 30 sacks next year.
  7. Ok just came by to get your guys view on the playoff seeding structure. Now, in what is becoming the common consensus, it is pretty much agreed upon that the NFC East has been the toughest division in football in recent years. With that said, I wanted to get some of your input on playoff seeding when your favorite team plays in the toughest division in football. It is not uncommon to see the worst NFC East team to finish with a record of 7-9 or 8-8. Do you think its fair that a second place NFC East team with a 11-5 record would be seeded lower than say a Cardinals team that could finish 8-8 next year and win their division (in a very weak division)? I am starting to favor the better record, higher seed idea. You look at the NFC East and you figure a very successful season within the division would be a 4-2 record. Thats 2 losses right there. If you happen to drop 3 out of the other 10 games, do you think its fair that an 11-5 record could land you in the wildcard spot?
  8. I don't mind the steelers. Their a blue collar team and you typically don't hear much from them as opposed to teams like the Cowboys, Eagles, Chargers, etc... I have always thought the same about the Redskins too. You will never see my hatred for the Redskins come close to that of the Eagles and Cowboys because they go about their business and don't have the loudmouthed players and owners typical of teams like the Cowboys and Eagles.
  9. The Wire is without a doubt the best tv show ever made... yeah i said it.
  10. Don't forget... 1. All evidence points to Pacman himself ordering 2 separate hits on people and both people were shot multiple times. Did no time. 2. Rapper T.I. - busted for purchasing over 20 illegal guns (many of which were automatics) and is expected to be sentenced to less than a year in prison. Plax shoots himself with a firearm he held in his own name, but was not registered in the state he was in and he's looking at 3-15? Somethings night right there...
  11. amazing the lengths colleges will go through to get the uneducated athletes through their program.
  12. Ha I keep stumbling on these here's another one.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOixepVw0FE Fast forward to 1:50 until about 2:20 "Pacman what is it about the strip club that you can't stay away from" Pac - "The strip club like a regular club. I haven't been into the strip club in 2 years, 1 and a half years, 3 years, since the incident... I LIKEDED the strip club"
  13. Unfortunately I probably exhibit some delinquent tendencies when it comes to gambling. Your better off.
  14. The only upside to this place is they have the nationwide powerball avaliable in this state and not in New York ha. That could be good or bad though depending on if you like losing 10 dollars a week in a one in a billion hope of hitting it big and never having to work a single day ever again.
  15. Oh yea for sure. I was tired of going there after 2 times. Hopefully I can transfer out after this year. What made you come to the area or were you born and raised?
  16. Ha was that directed at me? Ha if not then yea I agree with you. I am most certainly not a fan of the area at all. There's nothing to do out here.
