  1. Understandable, but I don't think the game is working. Jacobs knows Ward can't do it alone as a starter. It would be shame to go from having a 1,000 yard rusher for like 7 years in a row to having no running game because we lost 2 big running backs. Reese better have a hell of a plan. I just don't see how Plax, Amani, Ward and Jacobs could be gone potentially. Your getting rid of half our offense!
  2. Me too. He makes me ashamed of being from New York. He's a joke - and a media hog too (long before the plax incident)
  3. Yea I agree. With the money he is about to make, its like splitting hairs. 30 million, 50 million... honestly who cares... The money's just going to keep growing for you. These guys act like their some pizza delivery boy "I gotta feed my family". Oh yea? Is that the reason you turned down 30 million dollars to play for a super bowl caliber team to take the 50 million to watch your career die in Oakland? Good luck seeing yourself on the all time NFL highlight reel. Just ask Randy Moss - That guy wasted years off his career in that dump. Sometimes I wonder with these guys...
  4. Wow how did I miss that?! Deion is a scumbag no doubt.
  5. I hope your right. I love Plax as a player and actually bought my only authentic jersey I've ever owned for number 17 after the 2007 season. I know some people hate him but I can't see this event not causing a 180 for him. I would take him back in a heartbeat. Too bad the Giants are not known for showing much patience with troubled players with the exception of Lawrence Taylor. As for pre-trial jury selection, you are right and I am sure his lawyer will get the majority of people he wants up there to determine the man's fate. But if the judge finds that the jury accepted certain facts and came out with a not guilty nonetheless, there is always the possibility of him stepping in to exert his power as well.
  6. Yea this is true... I sometimes wonder if I was a big time pro player and I had the opportunity of playing for a contender for the rest of my career like Jacobs for 30 million or a joke of a team for 5 to 10 million more what I would do. At the end of the day your getting ridiculous money either way. I don't know if I would be greedy once I knew I would be set for life no matter which path I chose.
  7. losing their best receiver and then letting their beast of a rb walk (Jacobs) would be beyond comprehension. Bradshaw can do what Ward did though.
  8. He's going to spend time in jail... The more I look at it, the more I am convinced he is going to get into some big trouble... Unfortunately, as a first year law student, here's what I know.... 1. Him carrying an unregistered gun in public is an undisputed fact 2. Him discharging the gun into his leg, whether it was accidental or not is an undisputed fact All the elements of the statutory definition are met, meaning he can and SHOULD (not my opinion but this according to law) be sentenced in this case. It is not going to really be relevant that to explain how his fellow teammates have been robbed at gunpoint and or shot. It has nothing to do with the statutory elements. Add the forced testimony of Antonio Pierce to the case and Plax's outlook is not too great. Hopefully his lawyer can work some OJ like magic. Also, I think it was disgraceful how Bloomberg called for the guys head just a day or two after the incident without knowing all the facts. I guess we'll see...
  9. Thats kind of like saying a wr is a product of his quarterback. Football is a team game. Every player relies on his teammates - But a good rb is a good rb.
  10. Deion has violated every broadcast journalism ethics and unbiased code. The guy disgusts me.
  11. I wouldn't say thats innacurate. He is very fast and does have fairly good hands. But - the kid is tiny weight wise. He got dinged up alot. Concussions, ankles, hands - you get the sense that he can get hurt at any moment. Plus, if we had Plaxico and developed Manningham a little faster we could of had Hixon on kick returns. He had 3 all year (against Arizona) and they were all one tackle away from being touchdowns. He has the potential to be the best kick returner in the league. I'd like to see him split time between that and wr.
  12. Yea... I reached for him a bit in the second and I took Moss first... Brady goes down in game one. Edwards sucked it up - I made a good trade for Boldin (although Moss still produced with Cassel - something I didn't expect). Too bad Derek Anderson (picked in the 5th) did nothing for me.
  13. Dude dropped EVERYTHING last year... ruined my fantasy football team... good thing I traded him and Randy Moss after week 3 for boldin
  14. My friend Alex Fletcher - Stanford. Can play Center and guard and is convinced he is going to set the record for bench press reps in the Combine or wherever they do that. Should be avaliable late.
  15. How did i leave rodney off my list?! My favorite Giant ever. Crazy I forgot to put him in.
  16. One of my hardest days as a Giants fan watching him get released...
  17. Lets be fair... every warden has a hard time running their prison...
  18. 1. Hardknocks 2. Pick a no name to be a Cowboy - The Jerry Jones Show 3. T.O. trying to make friends reality show... soon to be 3 in one year... LMAO
  19. Still can't believe it... First down inside your own 20 in the first quarter... pass First and Five, 2nd and 5 and 3rd and 5 fro the Eagles 25 with less than 2 minutes and them only having one timeout - Pass, pass, pass Jacobs sitting out several drives in the first and second quarter Hixon and Smith on the sidelines in obvious passing downs Direct Snap to Ward Qb Sneak with Manning Looks like someone wanted to start talks with Oakland early
  20. point out your team of choice so I can point out some trends.... Oh yea thats right, your too embarassed to tell us who you root for
  21. Scoring 20 points for them is like a huge game. I don't know how you can really call that offense "as consistent as they come". Ben has been been consistent throughout his career, but I wouldn't say he has been overly impressive this year by any means. And the offense as a whole, I would say, is far from "very consistent". That defense wins them all their games - lets be honest.
  22. One of my favorite Giants of all time. Disappointed in you here Toomer - Just shut up. The team didn't publicly rip you your first few years when you were almost cut because you weren't performing, they stood by you through a torn ACL late in your career - so don't bitch if they choose to let you go after almost a decade and a half. Its not right.
  23. Naaaa the old man doesn't want a go around at HC with those players. It would put him in the grave early - too much stress.
