  1. 18+ mil a year?? Can I hit what your smoking over there?
  2. It would be impossible for me to even attempt to defend Reese if he lets this happen. Just imagine... the Eagles would snatch him up in a heartbeat and we'd have to face the monster.
  3. Boldin is not gonna stay in Arizona
  4. TRUEE. Almost as dumb as us resigning him for only 1 year before the 2008 season. I knew it was a mistake then and its proving to be one now.
  5. Just out of curiosity - why are you afraid to announce who your team of choice is? And instead of trying to twist your response into something gay and throwing quotes around the "afriad" to be sarcastic - how bout you just answer the question. Why are you so reluctant to state who you root for?
  6. Holmes actually had a good season for us in 2002. Brian Mitchell... slowest returner I have ever seen until I saw Davenport returning kicks for awhile for Pittsburg this season.... Those were rough days when we seemed to take all the eagles scraps and those players were all washed up
  7. Ok ill accept that... Anyways... any thoughts about what we're gonna do to fill his spot? Anyone who thinks we can win big with the wr's we have ow (minus Plax) is crazy
  8. Well during his stretch of being injured, sure he wasn't as productive... but I think his other half of the season more than made up for that and was still enough to say he was the driving force behind our offensive success. I don't know, maybe you just don't like the guy because he clearly hurt the team this year. But I don't think you cany deny what he was in 07. He was putting up numbers on pace with Randy Moss before he got hurt. (First Half of the Season)
  9. Did you forget about the 8 touchdowns he had in the first 5 or 6 games? The playoff game in Lambeau? His 3 touchdowns against New England the last game of the regular season, his game winning streak down the sidelines vs. the Jets, his go ahead score against Washington? I think we would of had at least 2 or 3 more losses without him in 2007. Who would you say was more important than him to the offense last season?
  10. Nothing will ever top the Tyree catch unless maybe theres a hail mary to win a superbowl as time expires.
  11. Thats still understandable. I doubt the egg head has any ties to Dallas or Texas whatsoever.
  12. Yeah but Plax clearly was the offensive MVP... he may have single handedly won the Jets and one of the Washington games for us.
  13. Yea for real... Yankees, Giants, Knicks... live with the bad live with the good... Dallas cowboys, Lakers/Celtics/Bulls, Angels/Red Sox/Atlanta Braves... typical scenarios
  14. Interesting that the Cowboy fan from New Jersey who probably picked the Cowboys as his team during the 90's is calling someone else a bandwagon fan
  15. I think yes... Carried the team on his back in 2007. He has to rank somewhere near the top of the list if not the top. Anyone have any big name players that could compete for the spot? Its not like the Giats to sign big name players so not many come to mind.
  16. I was 1 and a half for the 86 superbowl but I remember exactly where I was watching the game and what I was doing for the 1990 superbowl. I was 5 or 6 at the time and remember it fairly clearly. The rest is history... my school journals for the next 2-3 years would be only giants pictures or entries about Giants football.... to the point where my teachers actually asked me to talk about "something else sometimes". It seemed to be a curse at many times being a Giants fan. I cursed myself for caring so much about a team who crushed me so many times including the 20+ point blown lead in SF in the playoffs but it made the superbowl win so amazingly sweet. Giants for life!
  17. Manning makes slightly less than 9 mil per year as of now.
  18. Corey Webster at 9 million dollars. Who would have believed this a year and a half ago. From a potential bust to a top 3 corner in the NFL by stat comparisons and IMO the 2nd best behind Namdi (sp.) in Oakland. Only let up 1 td in 2008. Way to go Web keep it up!
  19. That was my point - At WORST he will be gone for a first round pick (nothing more on top of that)... He's a top 10 wr in the league... probably top 5... No reason why we shouldnt do this... Better than gambling on a player in the first.
  20. Boldin would be a lock to leave with a first round pick offer IMO (not anything else tacked on). Some injury concerns, his mounting frustration with his contract and the quick development of Breaston will make the decision a fairly easy one for the cards.
  21. Theres no reason why we shouldn't get him or Boldin in the offseason. The Giants are not going to win the superbowl with Hixon as their number one receiver. Boldin or Chad - The only 2 quality realistic receivers avaliable trades - we gotta make a move... I don't care if we gave up a second and fifth that essentially be trading Shockey for Chad... As for Boldin I would trade our 2 and 3 for him.
