  1. Don't forget the 20+ mil we are likely getting back from Plax
  2. Ron Stone was very solid for us - just not sure he was the best RG we ever had. Yay or Nay on Daluiso for kicker?
  3. I was thinking about this last night. As much as I hate his antics, I think Tom can keep him in line. He has taken a media whipping the past 2 seasons and I think he wants to rid himself of that bad label he has developed. In a year where free agency wide receivers are non-existent, this would be a great move considering the price tag he would come with (probably nothing more than a 2nd or 3rd round pick in the draft). Plus, we all know he wasn't busting his ass in Cinci this year. He even joked about it during a halftime interview of the Jets-Pats game on NFL network with Deion. He said something along the lines of "yea I guess I'm just washed up. It all went away overnight for me" or something to that extent before smiling ear to ear. He has wanted out of Cinci sooo badly for the past 1-2 years and I think he could do big things for us.
  4. I'll start with some of the easier picks... The Goal being to create a list of the 22 best Giants you would want on the field (offense and defense). Feel free to add some special team-ers... Punter - Jeff Feagles Defensive End (spot 1) - Michael Strahan Linebacker (spot 1) - Lawrence Taylor Linebacker (spot 2) - Harry Carson Running Back - Tiki Barber (sorry guys) Tight End - Mark Bavaro Punt Returner - Dave Megget Coach - Bill Parcells Fullback - Charles Way? Keep the list going...
  5. Disappointments..... SINORICE MOSS, SINORICE MOSS, SINORICE MOSS, Plaxico Burress, maybe Danny Clark???? - I honestly can't name many more... its hard to find many disappointments from a team that led us to an 11-1 start.
  6. If any of you guys live near Hoboken go check out DeFranco's gym. Cushing has been working out there the past few weeks. DeFranco is famous for training many pro and soon to be pro athletes and turns them into absolute beasts in the weight room. He might be handing out sauce over there but I know someone who is training for the combine that has been working out there and he says Cushing is a beast.
  7. He is very good in coverage
  8. Ha... you may be right. That would explain a NJ Cowboys fan... jumped on that bandwagon in the 90's
  9. The Cowboys have probably never won a playoff game in his lifetime... That would explain a whole lot...
  10. I don't know. Eddie Royal, Braylon Edwards, Colston all had big first years in the last 2 seasons.
  11. Couldn't get 4 yards per carry? You got to be kidding me.... This isn't Marion Barber we're talking about
  12. Obviously we are going to take the best player on the board regardless of position but I wouldn't mind something like this..... 1. Brian Cushing LB USC or Clint Sintim LB Virginia 2. Kenny Britt WR Rutgets (Saints pick) 2. Devin Moore RB (Wyoming) 3. Mitch King DE (Iowa)
  13. To those that follow college football more than me... Any chance of landing Brian Cushing in the first and Hakeem Nicks in the second ?
  14. Interested in seeing who will give T.O.'s eventual HOF introductions speech. He has seemed to burn his bridges across the whole league. I don't know who would be willing to stand up and write some kind words for the guy.
  15. I've been high on Dansby for a long time and he won't come with an enormous price tag. It makes sense to grab this guy. The problem is we need to make a decision on Plax sooner rather than later or it is going to hurt us in our free agent search. Do we have 20+ extra mil to throw around? I don't see us being able to wait through his trial unless its a lock we will bring him back if he gets off the charge without jail time. Another defensive back would create a very young and formidable secondary for years to come. Webster, Thomas and Ross are all very good young players. I wouldn't mind selecting a DE on day 1 because the rotation helped us greatly in 07 and our pass rush faded out late in 2008. We absolutely need a wide receiver. If we wait until the second round I am fine with that but I don't want to waste a middle round pick at wideout. First pick has to be a WR or LB IMO.
  16. He's already has his C- card ready for the giants 09' draft
  17. And our team wasn't even that good that year we played Philly. We got in on an 8-8 record. We were hardly expected to win that game.
  18. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Eli Manning is the only quarterback in superbowl history to lead 2 fourth quarter touchdown drives...
  19. Many qb's could have won those games? You mean beaten one of the top ranked defenses in Tampa, the 13-3 Cowboys in their house, and the Pack who never lose playoff games at home? Oh and top it off with beating an 18-0 team which averaged 36 points per game and broke all kinds of NFL records? All qb's could have done that.... and only thrown 1 interception in that stretch? Romo could have done it? Romo couldn't beat a rookie qb in his own house, in the last game ever in the Cowboys stadium in a must win game. The football Gods gave him a miracle 2nd opportunity to make the playoffs in Philly and he choked it away again. But he could have won those 4 games EASILY huh? Interesting.
  20. Don't care to respond Egg? I saw you peaking at the comment I just left... whats the matter? Kind of hard to spin those facts huh?
  21. He didn't have a postseason breakdown of 6 touchdowns and 1 interception? He didn't pick apart Green Bay's secondary in Lambeau? He didn't lead a 46 second TD drive against your beloved Cowboys before halftime? He didn't convert a 3rd and 10 to Steve Smith with under a minute to go in the superbowl following the "magical play" you try to belittle? Just curious.... You love talking about the Tyree play and try to downplay it or use it to call Eli lucky or whatever the hell you do... But that was 35 yards of an 80 yard touchdown drive with less than 2 minutes to go in the superbowl. What about the other 45 yards of that drive? Eli didn't do shit on that either right? Keep talking your shit - we have all seen how well Romo plays in the big games
  22. I don't think he's angry. I actually like how he has that fire in him. He's a bit cocky and outspoken but we don't have many of those type of players besides him and Osi. Every team needs that emotional guy.
  23. Terell Thomas is a stud. It really says alot about him that he was on the field for almost the entire Eagles-Giants playoff game. Kids gonna be good.
