  1. I thought it was a clean hit.
  2. David Akers, NFC probowl kicker for 2009. Missed 5 field goals and has a kicking percentage of 86.5. Nate Keading AFC probowl kicker for 2009. Regular season missed three and had a kicking percentage of 91.5 Playoffs wen't 0 for three and cost the Chargers the AFC championship game. What's your point?
  3. I don't see why people are still riding Tynes, he's a good kicker I do agree though our punting games needs to be addressed though.
  4. Shame we let him go, I thought Kehl was going to have a break out year last season. Didn't turn out that way but I would of thought Wilk would of been the one to cut and keep Kehl who has shown more at this point. Oh well guess that's football.
  5. And this is the reason why I think College Football is silly and to be ignored.
  6. I don't understand how we're not inside the top 10 let alone top 15. Yet the Cowboys are. I'm glad these rankings don't really mean anything.
  7. I wouldn't say that Colston is a better play maker then Nicks at their point in their careers, infact Colston holds some sort of recieving record or something. Meachem is like our Manningham, a really fast guy who always finds himself behind the defense. I'd say that the Saints have a better WR core in play making ability and over all better WR core.
  8. He was a third round pick, he would of been an late first/early second if he didn't get caught with Marry-J in college.
  9. Wasn't there some other Cowboy fan you had a beef with on youtube? Guy was just an absolute moron.
  10. Well atleast we know he can out run Tynes.
  11. He'll be looking for a new contract and if we don't show him the money he will be going to another team. The drafting of JPP is starting to look better as time goes on.
  12. Deon Sanders Ty Law Bruce Johnson ect Seriously Nem.
  13. And your point? QB driven league, has been for the past 20 years.
  14. So instead of trying to state your own opinion with facts and any sense of a football knowledge, you try to insult me. You ever wonder why everyone on here calls you a troll? But here I'll bite on your attempt to insult me. Good to know you didnt bother to try an refute anyone elses posts, just mine and yet it was just with insults. I think what your saying more or less you didnt bother to watch any Giants games last season because if you did you would realize that Alford didnt even play last season, so yes he was "outplayed" as you put it by Bernard. Just one question, what has Tyree done since being released by the Giants? No problem, glad to know you couldnt think of any other reason why Alford was released outside of all the obvious reasons and you needed Canadian to help show you how the NFL works.
  15. ESPN finally nailed it for once, pretty much these 5 things will make or break the season for the Giants. I think the two most concerning are the running game and who is going to be playing in our LB core. I know we have seen that Eli can pick apart a defense and with our young and emerging star WRs in Smith, Nicks, Manningham, Cruz and a healthy TE in Boss we should be able to pass on teams. The only problem I see if that if we become a "pass first team" I don't think we are set up for it this year, if teams go into games thinking "hey we don't need to worry about the running game of the Giants, just shut down Eli and we win" I think we wont be able to make the playoffs which happened last year. Not saying Eli couldn't get it done just like I said we are still a offense built around a run first mentality and that I think is going to be the key for the offense this year. My second concern is like many here is the LB core, I have no problem with Boley and Bulluck at the weak side and strong side LB spots and will go as far as saying that this is the strongest we have had at those positions in years. The middle does concern me though, Goff did step it up in pre-season and the coaches do seem confident in him but the MLB spot is what the defense thrives on. Who ever is in the spot feeds the D and sets the tone for the game, I hope Goff can fill that role.
  16. See and this is what I think is complete B.S. as well. Players sit threw meetings almost ever day in the pre-season and training camp with the position coach, offensive coordinator and the head coach. You can't tell me that as training camp went on and watching practice and game footage you can't tell me that Jacobs didnt see this coming. Not only that but you cant tell me that at one point in time be it the RB coach, Gilly or Coughlin didn't sit down and atleast tell them the direction they were heading in 2010. Read this article here: Linky Here's the first few sentences from the article. This was put up on August 8th and it states what we have known all along in training camp and so on, is that Bradshaw all throughout camp has been getting the work load and running with the #1s. Jacobs knew he was getting put down a spot on the roster chart, he's just being a bitch about what happened and thinks his "earned the right" to be pampered into the roster change. For a guy that's pulling 15 million a year for being the #2 RB on a football team I would shut my mouth Jacobs before it costs you more then your starting position.
  17. Bernard greatly out played Alford this pre-season against 1st and 2nd string players, it's apparent Alford is going to take another year to atleast get back to normal with his knee and who knows if is going to get any better then that. Let's not forget what Alford was though, he was a pass rushing DT who from time to time made the occasional tackle. When your only major attribute to your play is being able to push the pocket and get to the QB and it's obvious that you are not able to do that at least for this year and potential years to come, it's time to move on. Cofield is a proven DT and run stopper and has done nothing but been a solid and better DT then Alford at this point in their careers. Canty and Bernard both have shown that when they are health they can get what needs to be done and even Bernard himself had a couple sacks against the Pats. Joseph has done nothing but impress when on the field as well and as the season goes on and he gets more and more game time he will be a good player as well. Alford was a roster tragedy, we have four really good and HEALTHY DTs who can get the job done. Alford will end up on some other team but it will take a couple years before he is even back to starting form.
  18. And what did Coughlin do to disrespect any of them?
  19. So what the fuck does Jacobs expect that after he talks to Coughlin he would be put into the starting role? Is Jacobs that fucking stupid to not know how the NFL works? This article is complete B.S. and obviously the writer is disregarding everything the NFL stands for and how it's run. Here's a quick tip Jacobs, when your a RB and your running like complete shit expect to be replaced. Stop acting like a kid and bitching about the Giants organization telling you nothing, everyone and their mother could see Bradshaw has been running better then you and to expect a starting job is just your ego talking.
  20. He'll follow suit with most of our WRs and pull his hammy in practice and be ineffective throughout the year.
