OL is still a problem, and interestingly Thomas might be the biggest liability. It's also hilarious that in year 4 of Gettleman, Nate Solder is our starting RT. Early last season he was giving up his inside foot, he had a ridiculously long step out and back and his right leg in particular was off the ground for way too long. I think it was all part of trying to add a punch to his game, a focus of Columbo's. And then Columbo got fired, and that technique issue was cleaned up. And we'd all live happily ever after!..... But fast forward to this year, and Thomas is doing the exact opposite thing now.... he's so conscious of shutting down the inside, he's undersetting and giving pass rushers the edge. That said..... he's not the one I'm most concerned about. Neither of the sacks he gave up would have been sacks if there weren't also interior pressure. Peart was just as bad as Thomas, if not worse. I didn't have any observations on Hernandez or Gates. Left Guard was easily the weakest position on the line, whoever was in there was consistently killing the team.
