No. Its probably an academic argument, but I would like to see us secure Perrilloux as we did not secure Ballard. Lets not make the same mistake twice.

 

With our schedule, should Eli go down, we are probably toast with Carr or Perrilloux but it seems Carr has slipped considerably, and he was not that good at his peak.

 

Perrilloux has much much more upside than Carr. How much upside we do not know....I'd like to find out though.

If he spends the year on the PS, I'd give him a real chance to make the team next year as Eli's backup.

He is a valuable guy to have on the PS IMO. He can simulate the real mobile QBs.

I believe they'll try to get Ojomo Tracy, Perriloux, Broha, Stanback, Scott, Muasau, and several others on the practice squad (not sure of Scott's eligibility).

 

Now amended. Barden and Ojomo have made believers out of me, I believe they won their spots on the team at the expense of Hixon and Tracy. Barden could very well be the 3rd receiver at this point, playing on the outside when Cruz moves into the slot, although I do expect Randle to get some time there. And Jernigan will probably be Cruz's backup in the 3 WR sets.

As good as Tracy looked before he was injured, Ojomo has changed my mind. I hadn't got a good look at him until last night, and that guy gets really low when he's turning the corner on an offensive tackle. I mean... low, and without losing speed too. Not everyone can do that.

 

I hope they find a way to stash Tracy for a year, because he's a player too.

 

I'm not sure what happens to Barden now either. Unfortunately, I think Hixon must be the odd man out.

I think Scott should stay over Brown because of STs play but Coughlin chewing him out before the half can't be good.
