Treehugger
Well if someone on the GMB is saying it...
JackStroud
No. Its probably an academic argument, but I would like to see us secure Perrilloux as we did not secure Ballard. Lets not make the same mistake twice. With our schedule, should Eli go down, we are probably toast with Carr or Perrilloux but it seems Carr has slipped considerably, and he was not that good at his peak. Perrilloux has much much more upside than Carr. How much upside we do not know....I'd like to find out though.
BleedinBlue
Jack.....Perilloux is not going to back up Eli. Get used to the idea and save yourself a lot of grief.
osi724dasack
I also like Perriloux. But he's just not ready. If he spends the year on the PS, I'd give him a real chance to make the team next year as Eli's backup.
osi724dasack
I'd play Perriloux the whole game tonight. Let him try to earn himself a spot on someones roster and if not Ps him. He is a valuable guy to have on the PS IMO. He can simulate the real mobile QBs.
Allstarjim
OFFENSE (25): QB (2): Eli Manning David Carr Cut: Ryan Perriloux RB (4): Ahmad Bradshaw David Wilson Danny Ware Andre Brown Cut: Da'Rel Scott FB (1): Henry Hynoski WR (6): Hakeem Nicks Victor Cruz Rueben Randle Domenik Hixon Ramses Barden Jerrel Jernigan David Douglas Cut: Ramses Barden, Isaiah Stanback, Dan DePalma, Domenik Hixon TE (3): Martellus Bennett Bear Pascoe Adrien Robinson Cut: Larry Donnell OL (9): Will Beatty Kevin Boothe David Baas Chris Snee David Diehl Sean Locklear James Brewer Mitch Petrus Matt McCants Cut: Selvish Capers, Stephen Goodin, Jim Cordle, Chris White DEFENSE (25): DE (4): Justin Tuck Jason Pierre-Paul Osi Umenyiora Adrian Tracy Adawale Ojomo Cut: Adawale Ojomo, Matt Broha, Craig Marshall, Adrian Tracy DT (5): Linval Joseph Rocky Bernard Marvin Austin Marcus Thomas Markus Kuhn IR: Shaun Rogers Cut: Dwayne Hendricks LB (7): Mathias Kiwanuka Chase Blackburn Michael Boley Keith Rivers Jacquian Williams Mark Herzlich Spencer Paysinger Cut: Greg Jones, Jake Muasau CB (6): Corey Webster Prince Amukamara Jayron Hosley Michael Coe Terrell Thomas Justin Tryon Cut: Bruce Johnson, Dante Hughes, Laron Scott S (3): Kenny Phillips Antrel Rolle Will Hill Cut: Stevie Brown Suspended: Tyler Sash Special Teams (3): Lawrence Tynes Steve Weatherford Zak DeOssie I believe they'll try to get Ojomo Tracy, Perriloux, Broha, Stanback, Scott, Muasau, and several others on the practice squad (not sure of Scott's eligibility). Now amended. Barden and Ojomo have made believers out of me, I believe they won their spots on the team at the expense of Hixon and Tracy. Barden could very well be the 3rd receiver at this point, playing on the outside when Cruz moves into the slot, although I do expect Randle to get some time there. And Jernigan will probably be Cruz's backup in the 3 WR sets.
CrazedDogs
As good as Tracy looked before he was injured, Ojomo has changed my mind. I hadn't got a good look at him until last night, and that guy gets really low when he's turning the corner on an offensive tackle. I mean... low, and without losing speed too. Not everyone can do that. I hope they find a way to stash Tracy for a year, because he's a player too. I'm not sure what happens to Barden now either. Unfortunately, I think Hixon must be the odd man out.
NightFire
I think Scott should stay over Brown because of STs play but Coughlin chewing him out before the half can't be good.
