Time to start campaigning for Corey Webster's Pro Bowl selection. His name doesn't get called enough for wide-spread recognition because QBs simply can't throw against him. True 'shut-down' corners are rare and beautiful creatures.

He's a list of opposing team's #1 receivers and their production this season:

S. Moss 2 for 6 yards

R. Williams 1 for 18 yards

A. Bryant 1 for 6 yards

D. Bowe 1 for 11 yards

Season to date: 5 receptions for 41 yards and 0 TDs over 4 games.

note to self: pro-bowl campaigning = silly

pro-bowl campaigning after just four weeks of the season = really silly

and not to diminish him as a good corner, but the dog really is bowled over by shutting down those set of receivers...all are OK, but really, not anything to build a pro-bowl resume on...not that anyone cares about a pro-bowl resume...

sorry dude i thought this was a thread about who could make it, didnt realize it was just a thread about webster.

True, I should have been more clear it was for Corey "The REAL Lights Out" Webster.

Steve will get his dues. He currently leads the whole league in receptions (34), yards (411) and TDs (4).

with the excpetion of Bowe, who might be the best out of those WR's, theyve all made the pro bowl recently.

Moss went in 2005, Williams in 2006.

I remember when the Giants first drafted him from LSU, alot of people bashed him on the GMB for the first couple years. Thats about the time I got perma banned from there.
